this banner in Berlin has caused a lot of media attention since besides Clinton and Schwarzenegger it also shows a well known (and cheating) german politician

it's all over print, online and TV news - this has just saved them millions in advertising budget

and could cost a little if the guy decides to take it to court - but still way less than what they got in return.

Not sure about German laws... but that ad seems pretty hard to argue with.... it says the 3 guys have something in common and then gives the opinion that they should have used Ashley Madison based on the fact that they got cheating. Seems to be a very good ad about public figures on fairly safe legal ground.

german law says: you can only use public figures for advertising if it has a journalistical background - otherwise you need the person to agree and you have to pay them. They just bought a stock picture and if this ad has a journalistical background is at least debatable

on the other side: at court the whole cheating thing would be in the press again for weeks, something the guy surely wants to avoid since he's back with his wife

dann schau mal auf spiegel online, bild.de, mopo.de usw. - und Brisant und RTL Exclusiv haben darüber gesendet. mehr sender konnte ich nicht schauen, hatte noch was anderes zu tun ;)

with all that media attention they are making a big buck right now...
