How in the hell do they pull off DareDorm and CollegeRules?
 

How do they do it? The dorms look real, the kids look real. Collegefuckfest or whatever that site was called was fake, all the girls who got fucked were LA porn chicks. But on these sites it's real girls and guys. I'm assuming since they got into legal trouble with a college that the dorms aren't real but damn, recreating dorms out of a studio - that's a ton of work and $$$.

hmmm, cheap office space $1 - 2k a month. Bunk beds, $300 at walmart or ikea. set props, dorm fridges, dry erase board, fans, books, $500.

Seems pretty easy to me.

would have to be a pretty desperate landlord to rent out office space to a porn company bringing in that many people to shoot hardcore porn. they'd need the whole floor so 1-2K a month i highly doubt. they do a lot of shooting in hallways and bathrooms as well.

they could recreate a dorm floor in a studio but it would look the same each episode and looking at their tour the sets look different.

there's a reason only one company has pulled this off - they are the only porn company who can. i'm sure Nathan thinks he can, he has the money to, but nothing Brazzers has can touch the originality of sites like DareDorm.

ShanesWorld used to go to well known college campuses and shoot but it was more amateur, they'd get into a dorm room and do a standard amateur hardcore fuck scene. a lot more production work goes into DareDorm and CollegeRules.

They have recruiters all over south florida, I know, I shot some of the same girls right before/right after they did. Most girls will do 1 or 2 scenes get the money they need and then duck back out, that's why you don't see them saturated everywhere. That's where we found the twins in my avatar. I know the owners paid out at least one pay period out of their pockets when WSB dissapeared which was pretty cool of them. Lost a bunch of rebills though. :(

They definitely do a good job on those sites. Like some others said, it's all about casting fresh faced amateur girls, many of whom only wind up doing a couple of shoots. Several of the amateur girls I recruited for the teen party group sex scenes featuring American girls on http://SpicyRoulette.com only did one or two shoots and disappeared and that makes it more realistic.

And of course one needs to create realistic looking sets with bunk beds, and giving them a lived in look. I've had sets created and shot dorm room scenes like this on a more limited basis for a single adult movie or a couple of scenes for a site. But you need a nicely set up studio space with multiple sets, furniture and lots of props to do an ongoing series of scenes with a lot of people in it.

I already have access to space in a porn friendly studio where I have shot before that can accomodate this time of production and l'd love to take on a project like this if someone had the budget. I'm always casting enough new girls each month that the turnover of new faces is very high.

Girls' rooms are really messy, you can't just hang a towel on the wall and a couple pics and posters. They hang everything on the floor. When they go out on a date they rummage through the panties on the floor, fish one out that doesn't smell too bad, slip it on and out the door they go, after stepping over the left-over pizza also on the floor. The broken laptop is also on the floor, under the desk. So too are the beer cans and a bag of pads...

When I first started this work I would take a portable lighting kit to girls' homes and shoot them there, loved it. But now they are all living with mom and dad or room mates and I can't do it anymore. Pity, nothing beats the realism of shooting a girl in her natural habitat. Oh, I forgot to mention the cat and it's dirty litterbox.

If some college kids did a shoot in their dorm room how would the college know it was "their" dorm room? The insides of almost all dorm rooms look the same, painted cinder block walls, crappy 30 year old wooden furniture and usually old funky wooden cabinets. Who would really know, or could prove, which college it was shot in for them to even try to cause legal trouble?
