Changes at SmokeCash

Before someone runs to the board to post the email that was sent to SmokeCash affiliates, I wanted to get here first :1orglaugh

There are changes coming to SmokeCash, effective the end of this month. In a nutshell, our sites Sexy Smokers and Smoking Babes will no longer be part of the program. Instead, we will be offering the opportunity to promote our flagship site, Smoke Signals Online, which has been a "private" site until now (and also has been our bread and butter).

There will be other changes, which affect our partners, but probably don't need to be detailed here. Anyone interested can see the whole story here.

If you haven't promoted us before now, this is an opportunity to get in on something that sells well and recurs well. I'm always happy to answer any questions, needless to say.

And please wish me luck in my attempt to win the PussyCash NFL pool for a second straight year :winkwink:

Good luck! I might have beat you if I had not totally forgot to make my pics one week. :-(

I'll probably put you up once you get changed over. Initially in reading I was questioning why you would be shutting down the sites for affiliates when affiliates still had links up but after reading your explanation it seems reasonable. While 20 days advance notice isn't ideal but it's acceptable enough for 2011 when many give less than a week or no notice at all. Good luck with the site.

Thanks.
I'm not just shutting the "old" sites down for affiliates - I'm shutting down all signups for those two sites, and once the rebills have gone away I'm shutting the sites down, period. If a few rebills remain, I'll move them to the new site manually.
I wish I had been able to give more notice than 20 days - but to be honest, I know most of the major affiliates personally and they knew something like this was coming. And frankly, this will be a better deal for the affiliates.

I'm already off to a bad start, forgot to make my pick for Thursday night - on the other hand, I probably would have picked the Saints, so maybe I'm off to a good start :helpme
