Lots of Tube Embeds
Have any interest in thousands of tube embeds with titles, tags, 20-thumbs and durations?
I have 40k now and I'm processing 3k a day, and could do much more. Example: fpv18.com (4-weeks old) If you're interested let me know. I can make help make it real easy to build that tube site domain you're sitting on... :thumbsup |
Congrats on pirating pirated content. :thumbsup First think I clicked on was a full-length xhamster video that doesn't belong to xhamster.
I've always wondered, tubes can hide behind DMCA and say that somebody else uploaded it. Can a scraper site even hide behind DMCA since the owner of the site is deciding which videos to take and embed? |

the embeds get removed when the host site complies with a take down notice.. and my spider will revisit and notice the removal then remove the dead embed...

in the case of the host site (like xhamster for example), they are protected by dmca law because the video is "user uploaded", so as long as they take it down if given notice they are supposedly fairly safe in the case of a scraper site, the webmaster himself sets up the scraper, so regardless of what the site he is scraping is doing about dmca, that doesn't change the fact that the video is appearing on the scraper site as a function of the webmaster himself "scraping" it, seems to me that legally that would put the scraper site in a much more responsible position than the host site that is "user uploaded" :2 cents: |
Im interested!

of course, i don't have any responsibility for the content "they" are publicizing. my role is similar to google images in that it's fully automated and making "fair use" of the spidered public content.

I was genuinely asking as I do not know what scraper sites fall under legally. Anybody else? The above sounds like it could be a viable argument -- don't know if it is one -- just sounds viable. |
