It's 9/11 again and as usual, the dramafest between the "truthers" and "conspiracy haters" flares up again like an embarrassing case of herpes. In an effort to shed LIGHT instead of generating more heat on the issue of conspiracies, please (please please please please) post examples of CONSPIRACY THEORIES THAT TURNED OUT TO BE TRUE.

Also people used to warn that the Swine Flu vaccine was to damage developing ovaries and the HPV vaccine was to make it difficult for a woman to carry a full-term pregnancy. I'm hearing lots of reports through people I know that some of those who received the HPV vaccine have now discovered they have fertility issues.

Once upon a time The Mellon Institute was paid money to produce studies proving that Asbestos was safe. They did so, meaning that money didn't have to be paid out to those suffering from mesothelioma. Eventually, as you know the dam broke and now Asbestos is being removed from buildings all around the world. I'm sure many of you know the story of the Asbestos in the Twin Towers; it was cheaper to have the towers demolished that to remove the Asbestos. The Port Authority was desperate for a demolition but it was not permitted.

Back to the The Mellon Institute, the Aluminium industry was due to pay out large sums of money for Fluoride poisoning, so they paid The Mellon Institute to prove that Fluoride was safe. This time The Mellon Institute used a different approach and said Fluoride is good for the teeth. These studies led to Fluoride being added to water supplys of many areas. People were told that Fluoride was healthy. The Aluminium industry saved a lot of money due to these studies.

Many people are now working out that Fluoride isn't so good afterall. One does have to admire the skill of The Mellon Institute, unfortunately they have caused a lot of deaths as Fluoride is a known Carcinogen

Most "conspiracy" that turn out to be true involve coprate greed.. Like big tobacco claiming cigs were good for your health. Very unlikely that anyone in any govt could pull off some hidden agenda 9/11 or moon landing type stuff.

Just far too many people involved that wouldn't get any benefit out of it. I guess the closest you could get in this day and age is Bush/Chenny and Iraq when they claimed Iraq was still producing WMD even though they knew it wasn't true. However when it comes to wars most govts lie to their citizenship in order to get support, it's called propaganda and has just about always gone on.

My problem with the Illuminati conspiracy is one of scope and effective control. Think of it this way - you and some buddies decide to organize a picnic. Sure enough, while many people are there on time and brought what they were supposed to bring, many didn't comply. If it's hard enough to organize a picnic that is supposed to take place at ONE TIME and at ONE PLACE, how hard would it be to organize the Illuminati's nefarious activities considering that they took place OVER HUNDREDS OF YEARS, involving HUNDREDS OF ORGANIZATIONS often composed of people who didn't know each other and involving HUNDREDS MORE FRONT ORGANIZATIONS and cover ideologies/religious movements/financial institutions. Plus, this would have taken place at MANY COUNTRIES.

Operation Gladio (Italian: Organizzazione Gladio) is the codename for a clandestine NATO "stay-behind" operation in Italy after World War II. Its purpose was to continue anti-communist actions in the event of a Warsaw Pact invasion of Western Europe. Gladio has been accused of trying to influence policies through the means of "false flag" operations: a 2000 Italian Parliamentary Commission report from the Olive Tree left-wing coalition concluded that the strategy of tension used by Gladio had been supported by the United States to "stop the PCI (Italian Communist Party), and to a certain degree also the PSI (Italian Socialist Party), from reaching executive power in the country....

NATO's "stay-behind" organizations were never called upon to resist a Soviet invasion, but their structures continued to exist after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Internal subversion and "false flag" operations were explicitly considered by the CIA and stay-behind paramilitaries. According to a November 13, 1990 Reuters cable,[11] "André Moyen ? a former member of the Belgian military security service and of the [stay-behind] network ? said Gladio was not just anti-Communist but was for fighting subversion in general....

A large arms cache was discovered in 1983 near the village Velp. In 1990 the government by means of then-prime-minister Ruud Lubbers was forced to confirm that the arms were related to planning for unorthodox warfare. He insisted that the Dutch organisation was, contrary to the operations in other European countries, totally independent from NATO command, and during wartime occupation would be commanded by the Dutch government in exile. The operating bureaus of the organisation would also move to safety in England or the USA at the first sign of trouble.
In his television show of 22 April 2007 Dutch crime journalist Peter R. De Vries revealed that weapons had been illegally supplied to Gladio well after the network was supposed to have been disbanded.
