POST 10,000 ! How to make money within a micro niche !
 

OK, Although this is laid out like a step by step... This isn't really a step by step guide, but a general rule of thumb... Its not 100% complete either. I know that. Its just a guide really. Stuff I have missed out is not deliberate. I simply cant fit it all in and keep it coherent. However the timelines are hairy Muff.. So... Make of it what the fuck you will... (Put it this way... I aint done to fucking badly with it!) LOL

Also bear in mind that I am often critiqued for not 'helping' or sharing some of my secrets, so today, post 10,000 I am changing that !

So, what we are going to do, is to open a site based on your chosen micro niche, but without using sponsors. You are gonna be a one man band, shoot the content, and market the site yourself, WITHOUT AFFILIATES ! Sound crazy? Perhaps... But read on...

This plan is going to take you an entire year. Yup, a whole year! 365 days! long time? Sure... BUT you wont 'work' every day, and it wont cost you much more than the change in your pockets! Is this a 'get rich quick'??? Nope, but it is a 'stay rich' scheme. Once you are a year in, its ZERO WORK, and 100% PROFIT lol

PART 1 - CHOOSE YOUR NICHE...

DAY 1) Choose a micro niche. Make sure that you are at least slightly interested in it...

DAY 2) Ensure that there are at (The absolute very fucking least) 3 forums where people are fans of / are talking about your chosen micro niche... (Or the broader niche that your micro niche is part of...)

Day 3) Reg up your domain name for your new site. Choose TWO words ONLY. Fetish + Your Twist' (Example- Mine is NAME OF FETISH plus POV) and start posting on the forums you have found... Branding your new domain name...

DAY 4) Dont matter WHAT other posters post on the 3 (Minmum) forums) YOU ARE GONNA BE THEIR BEST FRIEND! ie "Oh yeah, thats GREAT ! I wish I could produce content like that " etc... LICK ARSE for at least three months... Even if you think their content is SHIT... It dont matter... This is a means to an end.. PLAY THE GAME!!!

DAY 5) Meanwhile... You gotta start producing content... See the post below regarding that...

PART 2 - CONTENT...

DO NOT, REPEAT DO (FUCKING) NOT... BUY CONTENT FOR A MICRO NICHE... THEY HAVE SEEN IT BEFORE!!!

1) Your gonna shoot your own ! Dont worry... YOU DONT NEED EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT... Just get whatever the fuck you can afford... Keenness beats tech EVERY TIME!! Plus, with a cheap camera, and cheap production costs, you will be seen as a GENUINE FAN of the niche you have chosen... THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT... Everyone welcomes another 'Fan' into the fold... But a 'Pro Shooter' with Pro Equipment is seen as a tourist within your niche !

2) Find someone in your area who also shoots porn... Offer to team up with them - (TIP) They will say no at first,.. Who wants a noob on set??? But offer to be good, make the tea, and behave... Also point out to the other other guy, that he can use your payment to the girl, to 'bump up' the overall payment to the girl for the day... (TIP) Girls LIKE MONEY... The more you can offer them for a half day, at one location... THE MORE GIRLS WILL TAKE YOU BOTH UP ON IT... Its a win win... The girl gets more cash for her time - The other guy can offer more money, and et better girls, and you get your content dirt cheap... WINNING !!!

3) Shoot a max of twenty mins only. Make it dead easy for the girls. Get as many 20 min vids from each girl as you can afford... Keep shooting - Keep storing it away... Get a few stills - An iPhone will do for this - You dont need a hardcore canon D50... The stills are only to advertise the vids, and 'give away' for free with each vid you sell...

4) Keep doing this as often as your cash allows... Aim for at least ONE vid a month... However 3 vids per session, twice a month or more is ideal... Expensive? Well, not free, but remember... You are adding your shoot onto the end of another persons... So you can get it cheaper... Think of it like this. The girl is going to come and do a full B/G shoot for someone else, for £350... You are offering her an extra £50 for a 20 min vid at the end.... She's there anyway, its all extra cash for her, and so its all good. Believe me. THIS WORKS...

PART 3 - SITE...

OK, so we are in about month 10 now (Quick Recap) You have been posting for 10 mins a day, every day on your (at least) 3 forums. You have been complimenting EVERYONE ELSES WORK as a 'fan'.... Unknown to them, you have also been shooting your own stuff for 10 months... You have stockpiled AT LEAST 10 Videos (But Ideally about 30)...

Time to build your site... Now, with this plan, you are not building a 'members site' Just a site to sell your vids as one time downloads. MUCH SIMPLER... So, what does your site need? You MUST HAVE a main page that lists your available videos, and then each video needs its own page to display a trailer, and the 'Buy Now' button... Sure you can have pic galleries etc, but thats just gravy. We are keeping this as simple as possible...

So, either build a 'main page' in dreamweaver, and add the 'video pages' as links - Also in dreamweaver, or, if you are one of the cool kids, just use wordpress... Simple is as simple does... K.I.S.S. = Keep It Simple Stupid...

TIP. If you want a VERY SIMPLE billing option use verotel. If you want something that others CAN promote (And take commission from in future) Use ccBill - Add in as many or as few diff billers as you like. Its UP TO YOU...

POST CONTINUES BELOW...

PART 4 - PROMOTION...

Remember those 3 forums that you have spent ten mins a day, praising everything you see, and kissing ass? Now its time to introduce YOUR work. DONT STORM IN LIKE THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST AND ANNOUNCE HOW YOU ARE GOING TO CHANGE THE WORLD... Be humble... Post a few pics of 'Your Work'... TIP: Dont post your best pics - Post some shitty ones... That way people will try and 'help you'... 'Let them help you. PRETEND TO LISTEN... There nothing that someone likes more than to think that someone else is taking their advice... LAP IT UP, BE GRATEFUL... SAY THANKS... PROMISE TO LEARN etc...

You have now changed subtly your position on these forums. You have gone from a fan who loves the fetish, to a fan who loves it so much, you've tried making some content... BUT YOU ARE NOT COMPETITION TO THOSE WHO ALREADY PRODUCE AND PROMOTE AT THE FORUM... Infact, these same people who would otherwise be against you, think that they are 'helping you... (Bit of the old social engineering in play here)

Then after a bit of 'Help' annonce that you are going to launch a site, then launch - But just put half the vids on it to begin with... That way you can 'release' a new vid each month. 1st of the month, announce your new vid available for purchase. 2 weeks in, announce a trailer for the vid available to view... Next month same again - Rinse and repeat - And just shoot the odd new vid here and there, for the foreseeable future...

PART 5 - RECAP...

OK, so your years nearly up. What do you have? Well, you have a large presence, that was built up over a year on 3 big forums that are FULL of potential customers. Plus a lot of the members want to help you... Cool :)

Your Site is up and running with enough vids to command an interest, and some 'held back' for monthly release, in order to keep interest up...

You will of course have WATERMARKED THE FUCK OUT OF THE VIDS... AND your pics. ITS YOUR WORK - DONT BE AFRAID to BRAND IT AS SUCH... (Tip) Punters dont mind watermarks - only webmasters dislike them...

You can now set up a few blogs, keyword heavy to promote your content and drive traffic to the site. Your content = Your rules, so you can do or say what you like...

Because its your content you can also make a store on clips4sale or adultwork or anywhere you like... The contents yours, and its paid for, so spread it out as far and wide as possible...

Remember the forums? Grab a few of the big posters who wanted to help you, and let them have a vid or two for free :) Then ask them to post an opinion... Even if your stuff is not all that great, its highly unlikely that they would say 'It was not very good' - Social engineering again. They feel special to be offered free vids... So thats cool too...

PART 6 - FINAL THOUGHTS

Your site does NOT have to be flashy. Infact, keep it basic - You are supposed to be a fan, who has put his money where his mouth is, and produced some films... Not a PRO trying to turn a profit... The content can be amateur. It does not have to be fantastic. Remember the pics you take while you shoot the vid? Zip them up, and give them away with the Vid purchase... What do you charge for the vids? As MUCH AS POSSIBLE! I charge at LEAST 7.99 for one of my vids and give away 100+ pics with it as well... Believe you me, if you are shooting something that isnt all over the tubes (A TRUE MICRO NICHE) PEOPLE WILL PAY... All Day, every day...

PART 7 - HOW MUCH WILL I MAKE?

That all depend how clever you are, when you shoot your content. You see, its perfectly plausible to shoot two diff fetishes in one go, and provided the fetishes are not hardcore, you only have to pay the girl once, and not very much as its basically softcore...

Example. Lets say we have two micro niche fetishes. Upskirt with no panties in public, and Babyoil on boobs thru tee shirts...

So you take the girl outside wearing a skirt, no panties and a tee shirt.. She wanders about and gives you a few flashes etc, then you return to your location.... Film her walking in and soaking her teeshirt in baby oil and playing with her boobs... Then you have two diff fetishes for 2 diff sites, but to the girl, its just a half hour extra solo, with no penetration or hardcore - So its cheap... The people that watch the first part, will not notice that all the girls wear tee shirts, and the second part, the tee shirt / boobs / oil brigade, will not notice or complain the girl isn't wearing panties... But thats just an example. Its up to YOU TO GET CREATIVE... !

Doing the above immeaditly doubles your earning potential, for no extra work.... (FINAL TIP) To save extra work, dont even edit your videos. Just shoot it as it happens, talk to the girl about what she is dong, how much she is enjoying it, and KEEP IT REAL...

Theres a lot more that I could go into, but that is just an outline. Any specific questions, ask away... Before this thread disappears into history and I return to posting 'I like Poo' and 'I cant afford' all the time :)

you should also research your micro niche keywords to make sure there is enough people actively searching for the niche to make it worthwhile. also if youre not a part of the niche/community or feel distant from it dont even bother as youll be pointer out as a faker

Pretty much the prices I stated are the prices I have paid... ie The guy I teamed up with pays £350 for a B/G and I do his camera work for him - In return, afterwards I get to shoot the girl for my stuff for £50

I use top end pro models, that have a following - This works two ways.

1) Fans of the girl will seek her out, and may well be interested in seeing doing something thats quite different...
2) Fans of the niche get to see a VERY attractive girl, who is confident in what she is doing and enjoying doing it infront of the camera...

Regarding the question above re return on investment - 1 Vid costs ME £50 so once I sell it to 7 people, I have made my cash back... Every other copy of it I sell, from there on in, is pure profit.

FYI, I find I can usually sell between 30 and 50 copies of each new vid I promote, within the first couple of days. Then I notice that a lot of the people who bought the vid I was currently promoting return and purchase 2 or 3 of the other videos available within a week or so...

Its NOT huge money, but its all gravy :)

Yup, hopefully. I mean its really for noobs more than people who have been around for years, but the idea is to get people to think about being self sufficient. Not needing to rely on sponsors for their income, and to be able to generate their own.

Likewise, although doing what I say isn't FREE, because its stretched out over an entire year, you dont really need to invest a huge chunk of change to start it up either...

If anyone does follow this guide, please bump this thread a year from today and report back :)
