Can someone explain this url to me... http://refer.ccbill.com.yi.mk.gd/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=927020-
Greetings friends of Gfy, I was scanning tracking stats and found this following url and have never seen it before...
We contacted CCbill about it, because it seems like one of there domains but they said it was not their domain.... they also said they are very baffled at this and it warrants further investigation. We could not agree more. I asked if our sales could be hijacked with this and a disturbing repsonse of uncertainty was given. They could not explain why someone was using their doamin and redirecting to our site. Can any of you guys make sense of this for me? below is the url http://refer.ccbill.com.yi.mk.gd/cgi...000&PA=1908318 |

No, your sales can't be hijacked from that link. Is that the answer you were looking for?

MK is trying to make information universally available for all people, regardless of their native language.
To use MK, append <lang>.mk.gd to the end of the hostname in the url address bar, e.g. http://www.cnn.com.cn.mk.gd/ to read CNN in Chinese. |

But anyway, I can see how that link could execute the real ccbill link and switch the affiliate/site code to theirs. That would actually be pretty damn easy to do. The problem would be how to get a surfer to click the trick link. So if there is a virus going around like the Zango thing then the virus could plug the trick link into all sites visited by the affected surfer and take the sales from the real affilate. On a side note : My ccbill sign ups are non-existent!!!! |
it is just online translation service ... http://www.google.com/search?q=inurl%3A"com.yi.mk.gd", http://mk.gd, and that subdomains is the way how they doing it ... cant say its safe or not but dont see any hacking here ... :2 cents:

Okay thanks guys, nothing to worry about then...I definitely don't mind my site being translated for different countries....just worried me a little when ccbill said it was strange and could not explain... thanks for the clarity:)

If you scroll down to the bottom of your page you will see the translation notice provided by mk.gd.

If your sales are non existent then try this...contact support and while you have them on the phone keep refreshing your admin.... for some reason a combination of dialoging with ccbill support and refreshing your admin multiple times has a weird way of generating a flurry of sales activity...it has worked for us so give it a try:thumbsup |
It would appear that the only people getting fucked over on that URL is the affiliate.
