Strongbox guys.. inside please

Or.. anyone with intricate knowledge of strongbox...

Do you support, either directly or by extra plugin/module, running strongbox on nginx?

We're currently using password sentry, which works quite well, but lacks support for nginx.

Failing that, does anyone know of a password sentry or strongbox type protection for nginx?

Can't help you here, hope you get what you need.

Strongbox only works on apache i believe. There isn't much advantage to running nginx, just run apache and turn on noatime.

Lack experience with Nginx, but happy to work with you. What issues are you having with PS and Nginx?

Vdbucks, are you the same person who emailed the other day? Someone emailed the same question right about the same time you posted.and I figured it was you and we'd already gotten back to you.

We did a lot of trying and dug though a lot of code to find out that k0nr4d is right:

Nginx is great - if you forget to use noatime. With noatime, Apache is just as fast and doesn't have the kind of problems you're experiencing. We could port Strongbox to nginx for you, but you'd be better off running Apache and using the noatime option.

Some people are fans of nginx and so run nginx in fromt of Apache as a proxy. That works fine with Strongbox and pretty much anything else because it's Apache that's actually doing the work.
