Industry Question from an outsider?
 

I know there are some guys/gals on this forum making a great living promoting porn sites. I just dont understand it for the life of me. I mean... who the hell pays for porn these days? With all the free tube sites, torrent sites, free sharing forums, free thumbs, whatever...


I dont see how anyone could be making money from selling memberships to porn sites? I can get anything I want for free... why the heck would any one pay? None of my friends do, none of their friends do,etc.. Everyone I know just shares stuff they find for free online.


Im so lost...... can someone please school me on why I am wrong? I must be mistaken if all these webmasters and affiliates are making a decent living doing this..

Not everyone want to use torrents to find out what they want.
Also, some content cannot be found for free...maybe after few years :)
Porn doesnt sell as it used to but still a big market and plenty of paying happy customers!

Software can be found for free. Cinema movies can be found for free but that doesnt mean both industry are going to vanish anytime soon :D
Somebody need to pay for it to make it available for free! Simple logic...

I honestly believe that people will still pay for very good quality premium niche porn. Nasty Dollars still converts at almost the same rate it converted for me 5 years ago. They don?t offer rebills or I would be able to quit my day job. I also believe that most of the money being made today isn?t from premium porn sales but from the selling of traffic through banners or links, pay per click, and cams.

What the traffic broker is selling isn?t actually traffic but hope. The hope that if I pay for a link on their website, that I too can get some traffic, which may result in sales and I can become an adult webmaster giant and live the lifestyle of freedom that they may enjoy.

Pay per click, hey if I can?t convert them, I can still make some money from a NO!

Live sex will always sell. There are a lot of lonely people in the world who just need someone to talk to.

All of these things are not necessarily bad thing they are actually good things if I tailor my website to meet some of these needs but it still all boils down to getting the consumer to look at your product. I must Master the art of Website Traffic and all of my dreams will cum true.
