I don't spend all day scouring the internet for random things, so yes, I saw it somewhere, but no it wasn't reddit. My apologies to you for sharing it here after seeing it. Next time I'll only post it if I find it in my basement and scan it in myself. :) |

One of our programmers is a reddit addict (goes to meetups & such) and I give him quite a hard time about it, so it may have just been reflexive on my part :) |
4 MB upgrade, LOL. Love it.
those printers...and computer prices..lol
nice find :thumbsup
Print Shop III, nice I need to make a banner for a party!
Fucking pagers!
a sobering thought is that in 15 short years we are going to look at a Best Buy flyer from today and think today's products look so primitive :2 cents:
Ah, the good old days. When you could build a computer for $200 and sell it for $1k.

I remember that game Hexen...it sucked donkey balls.

Heh don't see too many of those "no payments for a year offers these days".
Guess that's a history lesson into the reasons the economy is like it is today. Every other store was doing the same back then too. |
those laptops look like BRICKS haha
"easier viewing with Large 11.3" display!" :1orglaugh |
haha that's a great find!
wow best buy has not changed the logo or look of their ad
thats crazy |
3GB hard drive for 400 dollars.
amazing that the price of a desktop computer never goes down - a good PC was 1999 back then and it's the same price today for one. and the Apple PowerPC was 2399 in 96 and today an iMac is the same price. |

Back in 1989-90 I worked at Radio Shack and we sold a 20MB hard drive that was actually a hard card for $600. |

Gotta say that my favorite part of the Ad is the Sony Tape Deck!!! And did anyone happen to notice the cost of the "make you own home page" software?!!! WOW!! lol. Those were the days! Oh look!!! You can get a Sony 8mm handy cam for $800!! The sad thing is that I have seen some people actually still shooting content with that camera!!
Also, what ever happened to Sega in the gaming world?
my wife had that Packard bell and I killed it trying to fix it. It was early in my playing with hardware days. lol
