Adult Videos & YouTube?
 

Anyone know what the policy with putting up adult videos on youtube? I could not find any rules per se, and cannot seem to find out where to 'mark' a video as being adult/mature audiences oriented. I see many videos there that are flagged as such, but cannot tell how they became that way.

Anyone here know the scoop on this?

In my test You Tube will remove it if the video is to revealing. Any nudity and they'll even delete your account. I've tried a few ExGF style videos on there, non-nude stuff, but they removed them in a few weeks. I've seen plenty on there that were more revealing then what I was posting, so I'm not sure why mine got the axe. As far as traffic, it was piss poor at best. Not much in return, I had a link in the description and a link hot spot on the video and that didn't get me much. Not worth the trouble in my opinion.

Thanks for the reply. I think I found the info I need and its basically they don't allow adult really. But what I want to do is more use it as a place to dock videos to play on my web site. I don't really want traffic on YouTube to find it, or even see it, I just want to use it as a video host. Plus with it being adult, if it was in the general search it would just get flagged anyway and booted. So...what I found was I can list the video as 'Unlisted' which keeps it out of YouTube's search and only allows those with a known link to find it, which I could also care less about, but it allows me to put the videos on my site for people to watch and not have them kill the video off of YouTube. I just got off suspension, so I can tell ya exactly what's up: if you're flagged, you're pretty much fucked. And if you're flagged, some one (probably your competitor) ratted you out.

First time I got yanked, they shut me down hardcore. When I pushed to find out why EXACTLY (bypassing the dumb automated replies you get from them) I found out I had watermarked my vids, and you're not allowed to "promote adult websites" on YT.

I make a new account, and this time I leave watermarks off, and most of my vids are arty-farty shit, and the second movies I put up I get a warning. Same shit, too: "YouTube is not a place for pornography blahblahblahblahblah."

It was one of my screen tests, and in it, the girl rubbed her nipples (in a totally non-sexual way) under her tee-shirt. No boob exposed...not even close.

Second time I had a video of Ashli Orion imitating various porn girls, and while doing so, in a totally non-sexual, comedic way, she rubs her vag over her panties.

I censor the rub. Totally blur it out. You can't see anything but a blurred-out hand over a blurred-out crotch, and they shut me down.

I just got reactivated again, but I'm thinking it's time for Vimeo.

people will see that you are hosting your video on youtube, and it will get flagged, and you will lose your account :2 cents:

If its too riqsue' it will get flagged and they will put it and then your account.

I understand, and thanks. So where would be the best place that is YT like that could host videos? I am not worried about getting traffic from the place, I just want to host it so that my visitors can view the videos. I dont really want to use an adult oriented site. I guess it might be time for me to investigate my own video site to host my own stuff. I've been looking for a while at phpmotion, but was hoping to not have to fuck around with yet another piece of software into my sites. Would prefer to just have a simple place to put my videos for simplified hosting and sharing to my site. Any recommendations?

I was thinking the same thing, but Vimeo does not seem to allow adult oriented stuff either, just the same as YT.

Plus, the videos I am creating are actually adult, but are also promoting unique products as well as my site.

Is there a YT like site that has no barriers on adult stuff and still provides the same mechanisms?

Check the tube promotion. I just dont show explict content in youtube but its a good option to show the users some about what its happend in the production set....

Any sexual actions and it will be removed. Making-out is about as sexual as you can get. Any touching gets it removed too.

Yeah, Im kind of getting that point across I guess. I will probably use YT like I am for the time being and marking the videos to be unpublished. My visitors I am sure wont report the files and no one else will be able to view them otherwise. They're on a separate YT account just for this purpose for now so if it does get zapped, its no biggie. It will for sure be a temporary means to an end.

After looking around it seems that the best solution is going to be something like phpmotion. I tested it out and it allows me to do the exact same thing YT does, embed the video into my site, which is all I really want. Im not really looking to run a tube site per se, just need a simple, decent little host to put my videos on and then embed them into the site for visitors to watch. At least with phpmotion I am in control of the content as opposed to YT staff or their visitors. For the price I guess you really cant beat the option. Im really amazed that I was not able to find a decent plugin for WP that does the same job in a simple way.

I'm looking for this one too with embed option. Some of my movies hosted on Vidbux and the likes but the host ads are crazy as hell.

I think they answer I am finding is to create one yourself. Phpmotion is free and seems to do the job. There are a bunch of hosts that seem to support it (going to check with HostGator and a few others as well too). Basically for the cost of a little host you can have your own solution it seems. If we have to look this hard for it, chances are it probably dont exist, at least in the barbones way I need it. Own the system, control the content, no ads, embedding. Unless someone comes along with a better idea, that's where I am headed.

Wont work, webmasters will flag your ass in a nanosecond. Videos will be removed quickly. You know how people act when they can remain anonymous, like c u n t s.

dailymotion allows some adult content

The only way to work with YouTube is...create a massive numbers of accounts and add videos to them...sooner or later any account with sexual content will be deleted. I mean...even accounts with just shoeplay videos (where a fully clothed woman plays with her shoes, nothing else) always get deleted... you just need to be flagged and that's all.

On the other hand...a few years ago your account would be deleted after you had three videos removed...now it's different, i have an account, still alive, that has 6 videos deleted so far...

Their policy is as follows:

You can't show naked breasts on YouTube. But, as long as the breasts are covered, you can show them being shot, stabbed, mutilated, kicked, gouged and maimed in every manner possible. This is the hipocrisy of censorship at work.

Looks interesting, and does indeed seem to be adult friendly. But I could not find anything about embedding my videos from there to my site. It looks like they want you to drive your traffic to their site so they can capitalize on it.

Do you know different, have you used this site?

I could not find a single video to do a test with, its all webmaster geared, no enduser material.

An admin in their forum said that embed is not available right now but that you can go to any video page in the sites, look at the source code and grab the code from there.

Thanks for the info. The problem with a place like this is I would be afraid that I spend all the time required getting my videos online there, spend the time embedding them into my site and then they disappear at some point or change the rules and I have to start all over again. Things keep pointing back to something like phpmotion where I own the site, the setup and such and just use it as an embed feed to my websites.

I agree, racism and animal abuse is allowed on YouTube too. There is so much crap being posted by farmers and hunters, showing off their gunning skills, shooting rabbits, rats, making all kinds of racist comments like referrring as n*gg*ers to black rabbits etc. I found all this crap when doing a search for night goggles, see how they shoot deers and wild board in their asses and let these animals run off and die a horrible slow dead somewhere.

I post videos on youtube from time to time. Just post some of the intros of your videos, showing your girls, maybe some kissing, but don't show tits etc. Nudity is the biggest nono on YouTube.
