LinkSpun users: Why don't you answer???

Is it just me or... a big number of Linkspun users just don't answer to trades? I have about 60 requests i made that still have to receive an answer...i mean...at least deny them, but why ignore them like this?!?!

Best-In-BC 09-21-2011 07:28 AM

Cause it sucks, do it manually with a script to check on links.
But thats my opion, most I fell like it.

EthnicLover 09-21-2011 07:36 AM

In general I have not had that problem. I usually get a response within several days. However, I only request trades from people who have recently logged into their accounts, at least within the past three or four days. I find there is a high response rate among those users, of which there are many.

what gets me is the numbers of errors.. Everyone says oh its a hosting issue.. Then get better hosting people.

drmadcat 09-21-2011 08:01 AM

FlexxAeon 09-21-2011 09:03 AM

i'm guilty. haven't looked at linkspun in a while, been focused on a restructure. but i can't even fathom looking at it until i get this one project finished. hopefully i'll be back to trading soon.

I'm guilty of not responding to trades these days as well. I kept my account current daily for months but for the past 4-5 weeks I've had too much going on outside of Linkspun to have time for it. I'm also weary of spending too much time building the account up if the service goes down again.

The issue on Linkspun isn't those members that don't log on that often, to be honest I avoid requesting link trades with them for the only fact that a link trade set up can take over a week. The problem is them that log on daily and ignore requests. I'm getting pathetic excuses from some that say "I get 15 to 20 trade requests a day and can't keep up with them" I mean come one, think of something better to say, i get even more than 20 and manage to request another 20 to 30 a day. It's a great tool if you know where to fish, but a lot of members slow you down.

19teenporn 09-21-2011 11:41 AM

Because most members just sign up and then forget.

Just a handful are active, most login once every six months...

Shoplifter 09-21-2011 12:04 PM

It takes a long time to check all the trades out, so I can only do maybe one or two a day.
99% of the trade requests I get are pure crap and I have to sort through them.

If you have good trades from real sites look me up there, I'm happy to do good trades.

Argos88 09-21-2011 12:39 PM

is linkspun still alive??

I see all the owner's sites are dead.. for example classic-porn.ca that site had lots of google traffic and is suspended, same with other sites of the Canadian owner of linkspun.

magicmike 09-21-2011 12:56 PM

I like the service, hope it keeps going

porno jew 09-21-2011 01:01 PM

It's not a hosting issue, it's an owner of the site issue. :2 cents:

The hosting is being donated as a kind gesture to all the web masters that are using the service. If there are errors with the site then it has to do with the script, the programmer might be available to fix them if they are reported and he sees this thread.

Dubya 09-21-2011 02:56 PM

unless said programmer gets paid by someone aint shit happening kids

disappointing because i remember us having a discussion back when TB was going down, regarding 'what if' linkspun when MIA.

but, shit happens i guess.

hope everyone has set up their own internal solution for verifying links :2 cents:

fris 09-21-2011 07:54 PM

maybe the person requesting the trade doesnt have a chance on getting added, likely the persons site link value is far above the person asking
