Ad quality observation
I've noticed something peculiar and wonder whether anyone else has made the same observation.
I've put out a lot of ads out on different networks over the years, both mainstream and adult. Sometimes, I've put in a great deal of time producing a really slick, high-res, professional visual. Other times, I've just fucked off and whipped a crappy ad out in five minutes to fill a space or because I was in a rush for some reason. Thing is, the ugly, amateurish ads ALWAYS have a higher CTR. I hesitate to theorize about the psychograph behind it, but nearly 10 years of numbers don't lie. Thoughts? |
