i wouldn't say vain, just missguided. If you really wanted to register your name, wouldn't you get the .com instead ? assuming you mean first/last name and not "gabriel"

I don't know how secret it would be, pretty sure there will be "who is" or ways to check to see if a domain was registered and who did it.

I disagree that a lot of people will do it. Not at these prices and in todays market where a lot of people here are broke or near broke and letting a lot of their .com's expire.

FFN stock is even better, you should load up on that too.
