I had one last week that was killing me. Broken tooth that I just wanted pulled.

I let the dentist talk me into a root canal and crown instead.

Ugh.

Glyoxide is a product that gets way down in the gums along teeth and kills infections by bringing oxygen. That bacterial crap causing inflammation can't live in an oxygen rich environment, so I'd recommend getting some of that.

I can take any kind of pain in the world except for dental pain. That turns me into a whiny little pussy.

Last time I developed a toothache this shit got me by until the dentist could see me.

Tastes like shit but numbs you pretty well. It worked much better than over the counter benzocaine products like orajel.

I'm okay now... last week had a tooth infection AND sinus headache AND major shoots... I told myself to remember that when it was over and ALWAYS have a great day when I don't have a tooth infection :thumbsup

I have a good floss/brushing routine.... keep floss picks in my car and on my desk along with disposible tooth brushes... and do use salt water on occasion to gargle... thaank you though. I will speak with the dentist about it when I go in oct. getting a cap replaced...

The work itself wasn't so bad. I sort of enjoy it. My jaw ached for the next two days. That was rough.

you are so right - a major toothache is absolutely maddening and crippling. there are toothaches and then there are TOOTHACHES. i had one 5 years ago, I wanted to put off going to a dentist, 3 days and it just kept getting worse until it was so bad if i had a gun i'd have put a bullet through my head. You can feel the throbbing in other parts of your body sometimes, this one every time my heart pounded i could feel it in one my hands as well as my tooth and my head. When going through it you would probably give away all your money and your firstborn to make the pain stop. When it stops it's euphoria, for a day or two, all your other problems don't matter - you are pain free and that's all that matters.

i feel so bad for people who suffer from crippling pain from whatever the cause. I can't see life being worth living if there's no way to stop it.

I've had one bad back episode in my life, it was as crippling as a bad toothache but with that there was a way to get relief from the back pain - lie down and don't move. there is no escape from a bad toothache other than Percocets - other pain relievers don't do shit for a bad toothache.

In fact, I do. Since Wednesday. I believe a crown is cracked...deep. Nazi dentist can't see me until next week.

go to dr kessler on roadside drive in the met life bldg right next to yamotos. he is freaking awesome. no pain. won't even feel the needle to numb you.

Olive oil base
tea tree oil $6 at trader joes
kelp powder $2 at whole foods type grocery
hydrogen peroxide $1.99 at wlagreens
organic salt
