Uh... news flash... it's legal to hunt black bears in Minnesota... it's NOT illegal to shoot one with a collar but discouraged... sometimes they can't see the collar. I fail to see how this would garner your response that they should be shot...

Who should be shot? |
I can understand how someone can be angry at hunters after getting attached to a particular animal but the fact is that the fees that hunters pay for much of the preservation efforts. Much more deadly to these wild animals is habitat destruction.
Another thing to consider is most people who are against hunting consume animal products from the ever growing frankenstein farms where the animals are pumped full of hormones, drugs, anti biotics, and nasty food. They are kept in crowded pens all their lives and often butchered in inhumane ways. http://dailyreckoning.com/right-to-h...animal-rights/ "Here’s a fact the animal rights crowd doesn’t like to hear, or to admit: There wouldn’t be nearly as many (if any) vast tracts of publicly owned land to hike, bike, bird-watch, dog-walk, horseback ride, or generally gambol around on if regulated hunting did not exist. Funds generated by license fees and federal excise taxes on outdoor gear pay for these lands by an overwhelming margin. In fact, these monies dwarf all other sources combined — including the nearly nonexistent contributions of animal rights organizations (more on this in a minute). That means outdoor sportsmen are overwhelmingly the largest source of conservation funding in the United States…." |
Just see what happens when you don't allow controlled legal hunts. Then you would have something to complain about. Controlled hunts are necessary to keep their population under control.
If left unchecked they would begin to starve, become diseased, and they'd be coming further into areas where man is, getting hit by cars and eating your children. |
I fucking love animals. that is some bullshit right there.
DUURRR Imma shoot a bear cuz im retarded and shit and have nuttin else to dooo with my life. I wont go fist to cuffs with that badass but ill shoot him in da back |

This logic is lost on the average diaper wearing modern manbitch. If they really wanted to help wildlife they would erase themselves so there is one less human taking up/polluting their habitat. |

The irony that maybe divvy should be shot :2 cents: |
So one bear should get special treatment? Whats wrong with hunting? Most people that hunt eat the animal and use its skin for something, which is what humans were designed to do. We are after all at the top of the food chain!

Nothing wrong with hunting. Nothing at all. |
People with different EQ's (Empathy Quotients) won't agree on stuff like hunting. Those with a high EQ would find it very difficult to kill an animal, even if there is a scientific basis. Those with a low EQ can easily hunt without remorse.
A person with a lower EQ is more likely to commit murder (they see other people only as objects in their world), but having a low EQ doesn't stop one from fearing the law. I was reading that murderers often do have a history of hunting, but they are normally known by their fellow hunters for being the one who would torture the animals |

I think extermination of masses of humans is actually quite an honorable gift to our species. |
I don't like to see hunting for sport, just to stuff an animal and hang it on your wall. If you're going to kill something, eat it! Anyone who actually enjoys killing something just for a trophy, is sick, in my opinion.

Do you live in the city or the country? Have you ever lived in the country? I have found that opinions like this usually come from people that have never lived in the country. Country opinions from city people are usually completely off the mark. City opinions from country people are usually completely off the mark. |
