what is it with all these people stuck in boxes kinds of films lately.
two other movies about a guy stuck in a box/coffin just came out including that movie with Ryan Reynolds where he's a contractor in Iraq buried alive in a coffin in the desert.
of course it makes budgeting a movie that much easier.
50 dollars for the box.
100 dollars for craft services.
1 million dollars for actor :1orglaugh

Ever since my wife forced me to watch The Notebook, I can't even look at Ryan Gosling without gagging. He's got to be one of the worst actors on the face of the planet.

Destined to be a cult classic.

Cult classics are usually horrible (not always).

Drive was probably one of the best movies I've seen in quite some time. Saw it in the theater on the day it came out. Beautifully shot, wonderfully written, and great acting.

It's a movie that requires you to 1) pay attention and to 2) have patience. The writer and director asks a lot from the audience. A lot of what's going on goes unsaid. So watching it in a movie theater is ideal.

Of course when a person (not you CandyFlip) downloads the DVDSCRNR (then simultaneously cry about the theft of porn) and watches it from their 20" television while simultaneosly on their laptop trolling Facebook - your mileage may vary.

I thought it was pretty good.

If you think Transformers 3 was the greatest movie ever - then this is not for you.

If you think the The Godfather 2 was the greatest movie ever - this might be up your alley.

You're like my sister in law's boyfriend. That dude tries to criticize movies all the time -- he hates Goodfellas and Fight Club for these weird reasons, but when you look at his DVD shelf its full of movies like Night at the Roxbury, Waterboy and Stepbrothers.

Seen Drive the other day, and yes it was crap. What was up with the whole focus on the dude for 30 seconds shit and all that, man you can't get ya 2hrs of life back from this dud.

I loved it... in fact...I paid to see it in the theatre twice... In just 6 days.

The cinematography was amazing. The soundtrack was amazing. It reminded me of so many things from classics like Vanishing Point, Miami Vice.. and the main character was like Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood hybrid.

I admit the lovey dovey scenes had me a little worried in the beginning but I really, really liked this movie.
