People godaddy does not allow adult content!

I try to tell people ahead of time and they always lose their damn site. People if you have a adult website on Godaddy then they will shut it down and not open for any reason.

Find a fricken adult host o.k. :thumbsup

O.k. done, sorry

I've had adult domains there for years and never once had an issue...knock on wood.

People still use Godaddy?:1orglaugh

The last time I read their TOS, it said that adult content is not allowed on domains using free hosting accounts, you know, the ones with stupid advertisements on them. That is not mentioned in the TOS for paid hosting accounts. But who the fuck knows with Godaddy...lol.

I think he's talking about hosting an adult site on GoDaddy hosting, not having an adult domain reg'd at Godaddy and hosting it elsewhere.

Why give Go Daddy ANY of your business? Idiots!

namecheap doesn't allow it either, they shut down 90 of my parked pages because some were adult a few weeks ago, they told me to remove the adult ones and they would re-activate the account, how your supposed to do that when they shut you off I dont know lol

Had backups, moved them to amerinoc.

Who uses GoDaddy? I just use their domain search tool... that about it.

Same here! In fact, at one time, the adult domains numbered in the thousands.

Sorry registration is fine there but they might screw for other reasons. One time they locked up a major domain of mine and said they needed $120 for convienance charges (meaning I had a high risk domain name) lol total scam.

I wrote this thread because today at DWHS I got another customer that lost everything for hosting a adult site on godaddy. Move your hosting to an adult host ASAP. You have been informed so you have no excuse now.

If you host a adult site with godaddy they will find out and you will lose everything.

There is tons of adult host here at GFY including the one in my sig!
