Do you do SEO on your pornsite? If so, how is it different from mainstream SEO? or is it basically the same?

SEO results are the same, methods are a bit different. I mean in mainstream you can add articles about your product on a lot of sites, regarding adult, there are not so many places where you can write about your product. Basic, internal SEO and links coming from other sites (external seo) will help you a lot with your adult site. If your site have a lot of text take care not to be duplicate content.

Are there any good places for adult articles to be placed? Like those huge article sites for mainstream?

adult seo needs special care. also there is much more competition in adult then mainstream.
there are few extra tricks we need to use while doing seo of adult sites.

Mainstream SEO is almost "SEO lite" compared to what's required for adult stuff. You think you've got your shit together in SEO land and then try to tackle adult? Wear a helmet. The learning curve is pretty steep here ;)

Thinking about releasing a mainstream SEO tool I own for adult but wanted to see if there was anything new I might need to know... probably nothing except take the swear word filter off at least from the responses I am getting lol

Not exactly the same as getting backlinks for pornsite is bit tough...Everyone is scared to link to a pornsite.. Other than that, its all same !

its just another site for search engines so same techniques work.,
but choose longtail/low traffic keyword/niche keyword, this way u could actaully rank for , or their is shitlods of competition

I make up keywords that sound good and take a gamble on it. Works well.

Sometimes I use keyword suggestion tools or I spy on the keyword sets of sites that rank high.

In general terms there is no different between porn seo and mainstream seo. It's 1 keyword or another. In terms of concept it's like saying keyword 1 = ___ and keyword 2 = ____. It really doesn't matter if those keywords are fuck, pussy or car.

What advice would you give begginers starting out with regards to adult seo?

Its not 100% the same but its damn close. If you dont know about it yet you may want to look into making a private network. Best thing in seo since xrumer was first released :P

I use the same SEO methods, i try to target long tail keywords, 3-5 words. I get indexed much faster for these keywords. I use the free tool from google webmaster keyword to do my target keyword research.

The value of content farms such as article sites is next to nil these days, having more back links does not help. Having a natural back link profile does. It's all about content these days. If you have shallow content your ranking will suffer no matter how many back links you have.

I find it easier if its porn... I guess its what your most used to.

I think google change algorithm every 3 month. So tired.
