For the past seven years, the Exotic Erotic Ball had been the largest show of the year for Asian Diva Girls, although in recent years, the event was not managed as well by the promoters, so I decided to try something different this year.

I believe that this new event, Masquerotica, will take the hedonistic best of the Exotic Erotic Ball, and will add some new special artistic magic and spiritual vibes, to create an all-new unique event which is sure to be a spectacular experience for all.

I hope this goes better than last year with the Erotica Ball. Can't make it this year, having a little party I have to go to

The Exotic Erotic Ball getting cancelled last year (after 31 years) was a shock (not to mention expensive loss to me), however as I recall, we still managed to have a little fun...

Putting on a show of this scale IS a lot of work, however I have been collaborating with some very talented people for years now, so I think we have the production side of the show down pretty good (stage, sound, lighting, video, effects), however it remains a monumental task coordinating 50+ models/performers, and a large crew of production assistants (stage crew, security), photographers/videographers, plus DJ's.

I actually started working on this show months ago (I was telling a few people about my initial plans for the Masquerotica show at the YNOT Summit in San Francisco last June). As for sleep, I enjoy it when I can. Other than that, most of my waking hours are spent doing the things I love, so it is not work, so much as a labor of love. :)

The stage visualization is complete, we are now fleshing it out. We're planning to implement some fresh new ideas for this show...

I haven't seen you in a few years at least - I think I treated you to sushi at Kubota in Japantown the last time we met, lol (I think you're the one - not sure from the nick). :)

I expect to see some folks from Sacramento at the show this year, since I hear that the annual Sacto Halloween party will be held on a different night this year. :2 cents:
