what bed and mattress are you guys and gals sleeping on?
been spending all my coin on sets and nothing for me... fuck it... time to sleep like a baby again, been sleeping on the floor for years... looking at a cal king sleigh bed with sealy mattress. what other options?
|
I spent over twenty years sleeping upright in vans, busses, terminals; and backstage at clubs and stadiums. Anything softer than concrete is fine with me.
Right now I have some fat generic pillow-top mattress. The mattress is firm, the pillows are soft, and I toss and turn like a hooked bass all night long. I'd probably be happier sleeping on the carpet. |
I never stopped sleeping in bunk beds.
|
We have a Sleep Number bed and I'm getting tired of it. I like my side soft, and my girl has her's set so that it's like sleeping on a half inflated balloon...so I'm constantly "falling" onto her side of the bed.

i am a tempurpedic fan

Heavenly bed. It's nice. Got it during a sale at Nordstrom's. Works because I stay quite a bit at starwood properties so the bed feels just like mine at home. Most of my bedding is from montage resorts. Another set is the hotel collection I think that is from macy's home. Since I upgrade to this I've gotten some really good sleep.

Tempurpedic cloud supreme :Graucho

I have a lovely firm, king size mattress, with expensive and comfortable sheets, comforter, and pillows. And I never need to make the bed, because I sleep on the couch almost every single night. What a waste.

Simmons Mattresses
http://www.simmons.com/ I checked what mattresses were being used in my favorite 5* hotels and saw many where using Simmons. It's just awesome. Best investment I've ever made. I sleep like a baby! |

I sleep on my money under my mattress. Very cozy.

Used to have a kingsize memory foam, now stuck with a double bed with 2 small mattresses that split apart so I end up on the slats :1orglaugh I noticed most beds are like this in Amsterdam, must be the way of hauling them in the window,

for those of you with the Tempurpedic. I've heard that they can be quite warm to sleep on, and I generally tend to run hot. Anyone experience this at all? I like firm mattresses but not at the expense of staying cool when I sleep.
|
IŽve heared Tempur is one of the best.
In 5 months, when i move,iŽll take two of them. Go and try them at the store. |
We have a Super King, white leather sleigh bed with Sealy pillow top mattress. I sleep like a baby and wake up actually feeling good at 7:18 when the alarm goes off.

Another vote for Tempur-Pedic. I'll never go back to another mattress.

Now, if I have to sleep in a bed that isn't mine I get pissed off. |
About 11 years ago I went out and custom ordered a couple of futons for my place, one for the living room (as a couch/bed) and one for myself (as a bed only). 10" with 2 inches of memory foam in the middle. Been sleeping well on it all this time, but lately I'm thinking of getting something new. The tempurpedic sounds good, but I definitely need something that is soft yet offers just the right support. Anything else and the side I'm laying on goes dead numb, and of course I wake up miserable and fall over all the way to the bathroom trying to walk on one good leg.
So many ways to go with beds these days it's a bloody headache trying to decide even who to buy from much less what type. Before the futon I spent about 20 years on a king size free-flow waterbed. |
