My Final CCBill Thread
 

Apparently we need a summation here concerning my feelings towards my business partner CCBill. This will be my final thread on anything CCBill-related as you will see in a moment. I have learned my lessons, perhaps the hard way. LOL

First, how I truly feel:

CCBil is a fine company. I know I say this a lot and some may think I am being pithy or worse but I truly feel they ARE a fine company. The fact that they are still here, processing, after so many years is a testament to their stability and their business acumen. It is one of the reasons I chose them as my processer in the first place.

I will not negate the above statement by listing past complaints. I am not the only person who has complained of this or that regarding CCBill, nor am I the only one who has seen mysterious "patterns" of sales rising and falling. But this is not the real point here.

My main "issues" with CCBill - and perhaps this is true of all third party processers, I am willing to concede - is that the information they provide is not always accurate in real time. This can include their stats reporting, their Admin reports, the "glitches and bugs" in their antiquated system, and their typically useless responses to GFY threads. Their client support has declined in competency over the past year or so. It now takes them hours and hours to respond when before it was a matter of minutes.

This has led me, in frustration, to post threads on GFY demanding action. I realize now that this was a foolish practice for me to engage in, simply because my "issues" seem to continue. So whats the point? I am really not a drama queen (at least not much of one).

Having said all that I have said I would STILL (and do) recommend people use CCBill as their processer - DEPENDING ON THEIR BUSINESS NEEDS. I am now obviously at a stage where I need to control my own billing more, and to not let control slip away the moment a surfer hits a CCBill join form.

I would like to apologize to CCBill for my harsh words in the past. Many of those words did indeed come from ignorance and my "newbie" status. I understand now that needing more control is NOT CCBill's "fault". They provide the services they provide and it is up to everyone to decide if they should use them or not.

So Thank You CCBill for the three years of success and growth and I hope you are still here twenty years from now. I realize now that complaining about some issues just causes drama without any real progress towards change or solution. Many affiliates prefer CCBill so perhaps we can continue to work together in this capacity, we shall see. :)

Excellent point, thank you, but there will be no more "going off". I've learned my lesson from all this.

But to add: it is my affiliates, among others, that I worry about, and any processing moves would involve one the affiliates could trust. But that isn't happening so, hopefully, you can all go back to hating on Sally Rand.

How do you experience success and growth when your sites have been down for the better part of a year? I think a part of the problem is that everyone jumped ship when your sites was down forever. All the promo that I linked to went 404. So I deleted all links to your sites.

When Fellucia disappeared - followed by, what? All your other sites? I just deleted everything everything to do with Peabody Cash. I don't like wasting my time gathering resources only to have my work - and time - wasted.

When programs like Nasty Dollars, Bangbros, and Naughty America have problems, they pay affiliates based on what the affiliate might have earned while they were down.

You just deleted shit and forced me to spend hours removing your content and redirecting your links. I changed the links AWAY from your sites and removed your content - as per your request. I'll never direct my traffic (such as it is...) towards any of your sites again. Even though I DO like your sites, I'm done with them.

Any hardship you're experiencing is based on your own decisions. It has nothing to do with CCBill.

As an affiliate, I concur.

Plus, it seems kind of hypocritical to complain about the possibility of lost sales when your own affiliates are losing sales TO YOU through those Mister Peabody World links. Put that energy into shoring up those traffic leaks.

I don't really know what you mean by "all my sites" as all my sites have never been down. The original Fellucia content was removed - and I was forced by CCBill and my attorneys to ask affiliates to remove their content so any issues you have is with Felucia - but the rest of the network was never down. In fact, even the "new" temporary Fellucia continues to makes sals for afiliates. You should not have re-directed ANY links as all I asked was that the CONTENT be taken down. I specifically said the LINKS would remain and be active, as they have been. If you did not re-direct links then you would have continued to make sales.

ErosExotica is a Whale and by NOT promoting it you are leaving money on the table.

While you love(d) Fellucia it was your only real interest in my sites. But you could have continued, as I said, and still have earned money.

So I don't really understand where you're coming from? Maybe you misinterpreted that email back in January or something, I dunno, but I specifically said to NOT remove links as the site was still and is still active.

But it's your choice, of course. Just wished you had reached out to me to discuss it before throwing mass amounts of money away. :)

I've never met a program owner that runs a ccbill program who wasn't annoying.

I started off with CCBill as my only processor and even though I now have multiple merchant accounts I still have all tours that originally used CCbill in place with CCbill processing.

I am glad to have them as part of my processing inventory and would never "stop using them" any more than I would take down a money making site just because I built a new one.

They do not demand exclusivity, why choose at all?

Third party processors serve a need ...
Having a credible processor provided affiliate program is one positive point.
