What's your Favorite coffee?

Coffee beans that is.

I usually get Pike's Place from Starbucks.

But my new fav is Sumatra from Peet's. I like my coffee full body and smooth.

Very full body, very concentrated flavor. Sweet, slightly earthy, herbal nuances with a gutsy richness. A favorite of Peet's customers for years...

I use a gold filter. I got a small machine just enough for me.

How about you?

Peaberry from the Big Island of Hawaii. On the coffee bean quality scale it's a "9" Starbucks is a "3". Needs no sugar or cream but I gave it a tiny bit of both. Kona coffee is my second favorite but only pure not blended. 99% of the Kona coffee you buy is blended because it's expensive ($30lb) and rare. Jamaica grows great coffee too but Hawaiian is my fave.

Damn... it's down to $40??? It must be a blend. It was $60 a pound when I used to have both Peaberry & Dark Kona delivered to my house once a month. It was around $135 per shipment for 3lbs of Kona & a half lb of Peaberry plus shipping. Blue Mountain Coffee Plantation I think. We did the tour and everything but they wouldn't let us go into the plantation.

I haven't had a good cup of coffee from Dunkin in quite a while. I keep going back once in a while, hoping for a decent cup. Half the time I have to dump the nasty hot piss on the sidewalk.

Something bad is happening at Dunkin in the last couple of years, and it's probably starting from the top down. None of those fuckers that work in any of those Dunkin shops give two shits about what kind of coffee they're making.

Any coffee will do + creamer of course.

My favorite is the regular ol stuff I make every morning in my 12 cup dripper. Extra fine grind, but nothing big name brand or fancy at all.

I've had the Dunkin Donuts (bag of beans, grind them yourself type thing), and IT was pretty good. Don't know about the stuff they serve at their actual locations though, never been.

I don't go out and pay $4 a cup anywhere, no need. But if I did it would probably be Tim Hortons.
