What can you buy for $35? A pair of cheap shorts on sale at The Gap? How about an Android 2.2 tablet for browsing/video conferencing/word processing?

Seeing as you can buy a mobile phone now for less than $5 that 20 years ago would have cost $600 economies of scale will eventually get tablets to a throwaway price.
