wow you could probably save a tonne of money if you just bought that shit when its on sale instead.. hehe

I don't think "conspiracy" has anything to do with being prepared for an emergency no matter how remote that possibility may be.

If you have the money and the space why not?

.

Think you'd get bored of eating it pretty quick.

Grapesoda 10-06-2011 08:09 AM

you would need a few hundred gallons of water as well as energy to cook with... so it's not as easy as it appears to be..

there is no end of world any time soon...

In every disaster, there are people who are totally helpless and rely on others for their survival, and then there are people who don't have to rely on others for their survival. Which one you are is usually up to you.

Its funny, I was looking at those products and laughing about who would buy it, and who would ever eat freeze dried Meat. But then I thought, if the world did go to shit, damn would I envy the guy who stocked up on that shit.

BlackCrayon 10-06-2011 08:32 AM

conspiracy theorists online are all talk and no action. none would be prepared for anything and probably couldn't afford that either.

DoubleD 10-06-2011 08:32 AM

all I need is a cross-bow, I'm gonna take your gas... ;)

Yeah, i believe the same. Even getting snowed in for a couple of days, or having the power out for a week could be distressing if you haven'd done some basic preparing at least.
