Techniques the Corporate Powers Will Use to Destroy the OWS Movement
I'm SURE this will begin soon. Once power is threatened, a push back is inevitable. In the end this movement is as much against the corporate owned media, as it is against any other corporate corruption. We need to be the media from here on out, or the message will be hijacked and muddled, no doubt!
Story here... http://my.firedoglake.com/spocko/201...-ows-movement/ |
People will come in here and call you a conspiracy nut for posting such a thing, or the article is from a source less than reputable, the two men speaking are less than reputable, etc., but it's common and public knowledge that the CIA and other do indeed plant and pay off others to steer movements in their direction. This is not conspiracy, but reality. The article brings up a good point. If the movement continues to grow, there will be those outside the movement who try to steer its direction.
Thanks for the post. |

Mubarak probably laughed at it with the same attitude in the early days. But, who knows, at least they are out there doing something. The only thing that may get accomplished is the logistics, planning, and practice for the next one, which is incredibly valuable.

Already happening-
The threatening letters "kill the wealthy" This one- http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/08/ny...bors.html?_r=1 Note - apparently the protestors are destroying bathrooms they are using;) A billion ways to sabotage a movement... |

any way, it is my own personal belief that the "power" in the US already controls quite firmly all three branches of the government and both of the major political parties. There is not going to be a revolution, there is not going to be any substantial change coming. I like that they are doing something, practicing their right to voice their views but in the end the political establishment does not fear the power of an easily frightened, distracted and ultimately uninterested populace. |
The wacko factor presented by some demonstrators will stall the entire effort.

Wait didnt the media call the tea party violent and racist? You mean they are going to use that same tactic on OWS shocker! not......
|
BTW the anarchist and far left groups that are there do not need plants for them to do something fucking stupid.

They will probably use the same techniques they used on the Tea Party...... which you fell for hook, line and sinker. :winkwink: |

I disagree that violence would harm the movement. Nothing has ever been accomplished at a peaceful protest. Policy changes only when the pressure cooker that is youths not afraid to get arrested finally blows.
Winter is near, so there isn't enough time for the crowds to swell and anger to ramp up enough to cause rioting. However, once spring 2012 hits I think this movement is going to swell. Things will finally boil over sometime during the summer. It's comical to see Tea Party supporters slamming OWS. Tea Party protests are senior citizens sitting in a park on lawn chairs. Liberals do it better. |
Mother Nature Will Break Up The OWS Movement :2 cents: http://s6x.it/tp9a A very cold winter is expected! |
Yep, winter will put the NYC protests on ice. And possibly a whole lot sooner, since November can be mighty cold, especially for those protesters from the warm, sunshine states.
There are far larger protests for all sorts of things all throughout the country numerous times every year with most getting very little publicity. What made OWS stand out were are those hundreds of arrests. Once that happened, suddenly OWS was big news. Up until then, it was getting very little coverage. Violence, arrests, etc definitely get notice, and drive change. |

Dont they need to be home when the street lights come on anyway? :1orglaugh

The lack of coverage from the media is pretty interesting. It seems the only way to affect change may be to tear shit up...

Since the Obama administration has more Wall Street insiders than any administration ever before, and considering that the DNC is behind the OWS movement, it's going to be an interesting dynamic.
Big labor is another big backer: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/afl-...py-protesters/ ACORN returns! http://www.theblaze.com/stories/vide...ts-of-america/ |
Obama has a very schizophrenic relationship with Wall Street, loving their money and power at night, but bashing them during the day.
It's odd that there have been no recent high profile prosecutions for all of the systematic evil doings that are alleged by the American left. Does anyone else find that curious? |

Herman Cain says the problem is not on Wall Street, but on Pennsylvania Avenue:

"I support the message to the establishment, whether it's Wall Street or the political establishment and the rest, that change has to happen," said House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi.
Well if it has Nancy's support!!!! [/Sarcasm] |
Bunch of conspiracy wackos on here... wise up lol
. |
I don't think that the OWS people appreciate Obama's corp funded positions and policies any more than the Tea Baggers claim to.
For some reason the Fox and Fools brainiacs decided to villainies them, even though both protest groups seem to share many commonalities. At this point, if the OWS movement begins to adopt a left-leaning agenda or message, the righties will only have themselves to blame. |

Get the money out of politics!!!!!
