Any computer guys that can help me with this driver situation?
 

Trying to play the Battlefield 3 beta on my laptop. Had it working with the 280.26 drivers but now the game is freezing everytime I start it.

I have an nvidia geforce gtx 560m and asus g74sx running windows 7 64bit and it told me to update my nvidia drivers before playing, so I did, but it's still telling me I need even more updated drivers, but nvidia won't let me install the (beta) 285.27 drivers, the driver installer says it's not compatible.. wtf?

Are you downloading the right version for your system?

Let it autodetect the driver here: http://www.geforce.com/Drivers

You need to download a beta driver from nvidia, not just their standard releases.

Yeah I did the autodetect and 280.26 is what it installed.

Nevermind though, I just realized there's a 285.38 and that installed fine. :)
