I dont need something automatic, my girl can write posts non-stop :)) just a gallery plugin to produce something similar.

Checked the uu gallery plugin, i dont think the plugin is used on the above site, but the plugin looks pretty good.

We use Nextgen Gallery on lots of our sites. Great plugin with lots of support and a wide variety of additional plugins to work with it;

it uses the built in gallery system

Yeah that is just the standard gallery layout that WordPress does when you upload more than 1 image. You can even see the default CSS style. You just need to set the right sizing you want in the media settings.
