Explanation about Payoneer and statement from Payoneer President and Founder
Hi everyone,
Now that we've been present on the board for a few months, we wanted to let you know a bit more about Payoneer. While a lot of people talk about us, we are clearly newer to the adult scene than our mainstream verticals (just over a year), so we wanted to let you know who we are. The following is a note from our president and founder: Hello GFYers, I am Yuval Tal, President and Founder of Payoneer. In light of recent malicious comments posted on these boards, I wanted to introduce myself and let you know about Payoneer. First and foremost, in its almost 7 years in business, Payoneer has never been investigated, subpoenaed, fined in any way, or received any type of warning from any US or international law agency, and works closely with international authorities to fight fraud and illegal activities. Founded in 2005 and currently processing over $1 billion in payouts per year, Payoneer is licensed in the United States to service businesses that cover all aspects of ecommerce other than gambling. We have raised $17 million from venture capital companies and work closely with several banks. We serve a variety of industries including freelancers, affiliates, and travel, and for the past year or so, adult. With over 130 employees, most of whom come from the finance industry and are well trained in the financial world, we comply with all relevant laws, American and international, and also have research and development offices in Tel Aviv. We believe in fair trade and competition: We appreciate Paxum's business model and strongly believe that it's important that people and companies have more than one payment option. As most of you already know, we appreciate any and all feedback (that's what Talia is here for and why her email address is clearly posted in her signature). We DO listen to what you request - 2 of the recent additions to our service, P2P and bank transfers all over the world - are direct results of feedback that we have read here on GFY and on other forums (P2P is mostly from GFY). Please continue to contact us when needed - I am very happy to hear that so many have been emailing our community team (Talia and Nissim) for the additional help that you may need offline, and hope you continue to do so in the future. We look forward to continuing to provide you with the best services possible to meet the needs of all of our customers. Have a great week. Yuval Tal |

I love payoneer

Nice, I have been meaning to sign up.
What are the fees? |
My number one rule is to use the least amount of adult service providers that I can. I know it is a sad unfortunate statement but having been around for quite a while and watching what has happened with various hosting companies and payment processors it's simply how I feel. I use Payoneer. I use them because they are a venture backed company that came into adult as merely an afterthought and they have no aspirations of making movies that I know of. lol . Adult is not their core business. This has allowed them to build a business not based on the "adult" fantasy of how business is done, but instead how real-world business is done.
You can read more about them here: http://techcrunch.com/search/Payoneer |
Can you shed some light on rumours surrounding your connection with israeli mossad hitmen ?
Israeli hitmen using payoneer cards and forged identities were sent to murder an arab. Was there some cooperation involved here or is it pure coincidence your former involvement in mossad and the fact these hitmen used payoneer and were also involved in mossad ? There was some speculation that these hitmen used stolen payoneer identities to carry out the murder . What is your stance on this ? |

Yuval also served as vice president of business development for RADWARE (NASDAQ: RDWR) and in an elite combat unit of the Israel Defense Forces.

well, I guess an org like Mossad could use any kind of prepaid card they wanted, its kind of weak argument against payoneer lol
Btw in Spain Payoneer is by far the most common prepaid card among webmasters. In general I think that after the epass fiasco, sponsors and webmasters should have all options and dont put again all eggs in one basket.... |
its nice for payoneer users to have people like you post here

i think the question is a valid question considering these facts |

Smokey, I never say its not valid question. Just said that sometimes we tend to see shadows everywhere. Almost all israeli tech companies start from military, its very common there that people that meet/work together in the tech military form afterwards companies. I just think that an org like mossad would prefer something more undercover if they wanted to use prepaid cards than a very very known israeli company...

The Central Bank, said Lt Gen Dahi, has enquired with the "issuers of the cards" about the source of the funds but has not had any response from them so far.
Notices "If we do not get a convincing response from them, I will request a red notice and a black notice for the institutions, as well as a UAE ban on the use of cards issued by them," he said. An Interpol red notice requests the arrest of wanted persons with a view to extradition while a black notice seeks information on unidentified bodies. A Central Bank source familiar with the investigation confirmed to Gulf News that the bank is in contact with "the issuers of the cards" to determine the identities of the cardholders and the sources of their funds According to information released by Dubai Police, some of the cards used by the suspects were prepaid Meta Bank MasterCards, which are issued by Payoneer, a US based company that specialises in prepaid debit cards targeted to internet shoppers. The cards function like credit cards but can be used as an alternative in that they are topped up with funds beforehand. The Payoneer connection unveils a network of links to Israel, specifically its intelligence community. Its CEO is Yuval Tal, an Israeli citizen who, according to media reports, described himself as a former Israeli special forces commando in a 2006 Fox News interview. However, a person who said he met Tal a couple of times but did not want to be named told Gulf News that "there is no question in my mind that Yuval has contacts with [Israel's spy agency] Mossad". He recalled a conversation Tal had with attendees of a Jewish charity event in New York, where he spoke of his connections with Mossad. |
We have been using Payoneer since the closing of epassporte and while we have been happy with them they do not fullfill our needs.
I took us one year for someone to respond to our request to be a partner! While they now have to P2P payments the limits are horrible.. The card limit is very low for our needs as well. We do about 40k per month in payouts with some people receiving 10k at a time. I takes us 10 days to transfer money to them. If we withdraw at an atm it takes us 10 days to withdraw the funds. I realize that many people do not need this type of service but many do as well. There seems to be no way to be upgraded to higher levels. What really sucks is customer service... When we where with Epassporte we had our account rep and he was great,, We even had his personal cel number, not that we ever used it except to wish him happy birthday. Ok had my rant for today now I will GFM. Dont throw stones at Mosad, they have a tendency to eat them> :thumbsup |

why did they pick the cell phone provider they used as well? mossad? |

if they were connected to mossad why would they use a service that could be exposed by any internet muckracker? why not go with some other service?
what advantage would using payoneer over other services have? i'm sure mossad was able to buy and any type of cards from anywhere? |

I am not anti-israel , i am anti-stupidity, it just so happens israel is discussed often and i point out stupidity. For the record i have been a payoneer user for years , and have always been happy with my service.. here is my issue.. The thread topic contains the following quote from Yuval "Payoneer has never been investigated, subpoenaed, fined in any way, or received any type of warning from any US or international law agency, and works closely with international authorities to fight fraud and illegal activities" it is quite clear the dubai police investigating payoneers role warned them their cards would be blacklisted in UAE if they did not cooperate with the investigation. This is quite contrary to what Yuval said at the start of this thread. |
