Anyone playing the BF3 demo?
 

I must say I'm a little disappointed..

The graphics is only marginally better than BC2

The game play seems way worse so far.. enemies are unbelievable hard to spot

The in game chat is ridicolous compared to BC2

The interface seems nicer looking, but a lot harder to figure out

Not sure if I'm going to love this game as I do BC2, then again.. I said the same thing when coming from BF2 to BC2 :pimp

Nope, but i've heard a few people say it was a bit of a let down.

Wonder how much different the game will be from the demo...

Loving it so far.
Making the enemies harder to spot improves the game play and the scenery and interaction with it is far better also.
Agree that the chat is hard to use though.

Its beta not demo, so there are many bugs.. I won't buy the full game, but it's ok for a free MP shooting..

waiting for counter strike 3.. will be released next year (hopefully)

Been doing the beta since it came out last month, it's not to bad they have a few things to fix like the hit tracking and so forth, but overall it's the best fps I have played to date. They opened Caspian Border yesterday from memory but not played that one yet to much work atm.

I have it pre-ordered and expect the actual game to be better then what it is atm.

I have no idea what "BF3" is. I have a PS3, do I need this game.


Wait... Battle Fortress 3? Right? No, I don't need it. Like a lemming, I'm waiting for Skyrim.

Loving it so far, and it'll only get better as you learn the maps/setup.

Wasn't a let down in the least bit for me, I'm used to BC2 for xbox 360 and I'm playing the BF3 Beta on a gaming laptop so the graphics are mind blowing.

Nope, BF3 = Battlefield 3. And yes, you need it.

Just played a few rounds on caspian border, thats a sweet level for sure. So open and all the jets, helicopters, tanks ect ect.... are awesome.

Lol I feel bad for the jet/heli flyers, I just take them all down too easily with a stinger as I make my way around the map.

Ahahahaah, I haven't been in a jet/heli yet and honestly not really my thing. I prefer just to stick to foot and kill peeps that way.

I became a BC2 addict, so I'm afraid to play the new demo. I'm debating whether or not I'll get the game. I was routinely doing 12+ hour marathons on BC2. Then I pulled the plug on XBox Live. I never reached level 50 though. I think I got up to 30something in a couple months.

I reallllly want to play the new one, but I don't know if I can control myself and play for just an hour or two.

I play tetris and spades on my phone occasionally. I wonder what this would be like compared to it.

I must have missed this, i only see the one level and the one game type, how did you get to another map?

The beta closes on the 10th (will be released 27 october from memory) so not really worth downloading now, you can pre-order the game from origin.

Some BF2 peeps hate this game (on the forum anyway) I was never into BF2 much so this is pretty slick for me.
