Conservatives Will Be Pleased - Britains NHS ended today

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-15280362

The NHS which had previously for the last 60 years been a health care by need not on ability to pay ended today as the Conservative Partys new legislation which makes it for profit and removes the government from having to provide health care.

The NHS will live on in the kite mark although now all hospitals, clinics etc will be run by private companies with initial funding from the government.

However patients will now have to pay for various operations and get health insurance.

Guess what. No news channels including the BBC broadcast anything at all or very little after the vote was made.

please please tell me you don't believe anything a labour politician has to say?

Ok try Lord Owen

The worst that will happen is that it will be part private and part public but this has been happening for years anyway but it was done secretly by lying labour.

My family and I have had several shit doctors over the years and if I can choose to go to the good ones more and have the bad ones earn less then I think that is a good thing.

Sadly most UK webmasters have extreme right wing racist views and support parties that are out to ban what they do.

If they were told all is OK by the "Daily Mail" they will think its great, any problems they will be blame it all on the immigrants....

Your a worse broken record than markham.

DaddyHalbucks 10-13-2011 10:05 AM

How horrible!

People now actually have to pay for services rendered? I can't believe that.

What will happen to the excellent care of socialized medicine?

Socialism has also made Europe so incredibly productive. What will happen now as it is undermined?

I will be depressed all day.

the UK system seemed to work quite well and much better than the US system.

drmadcat 10-13-2011 10:10 AM

carnt be any worse than the shit health care we get in Australia

_Richard_ 10-13-2011 10:12 AM

People pay for it through their taxes. This is both logical and humain as it difficult for some to pay as they are dying.

The NHS is Britain is the most popular institution there is and the best thing thing the quite socialist government did in 1948 (When Britain was bankrupt)

The fact that the USA throws people on the streets to die brings shame on what could be a great nation.

We are still fighting to defend the NHS against a small group of the rich who think sick people are a way of making money.

Welcome to paying three times the price of everything related to medical bills. Soon your average prescription that might of cost 30 dollars will soon cost over 100.

If you are unfortunate and end up in the ER.. then you can count on a minimal bill in the several thousands up tens of thousands.

That's how private run medical service works.. get used to it.. well done guys you just made a lot of private sector medical & insurance firms very rich. Congrats on stimulating your economy..

Europe isnt actually unproductive but keep watching Fox.

We are different from you in that when someone gets sicks we like to all know that they are looked after and wont die because they cant afford health care.

Its called humanity.

60% of all bankrupcies in the US are due to health care costs and 80% of those people had insurance. Even Christopher Reeves insurance ran out.

Well said.

I would only add that this will be against the will of 90% of the people by a government that did NOT win an election.

The interesting thing with the US is that the CDC cares an awful lot about people not catching the flu, plenty of jabs needed that have an incredible 25% chance of success. I suppose these jabs must be free and not for profit :upsidedow However, when it comes to getting run down by a truck with no insurance... :error

GatorB 10-13-2011 03:13 PM

Expect the overall health and life expectancy if the poor and middle class to decrease considerably over the next few years.

Completely agree, retirements are to be shorter and fertility too is going down in the West due to HPV and Swine Flu vaccination programs :2 cents:

Yeah surprising that those vacines which seem to be created so very quickly are given to all people free of charge.

seanchai 10-13-2011 03:23 PM

Nothing new - move along.
As someone who has lived in both the USA and UK and had babies in both (not personally but the missus) I can categorically say, that the NHS in the UK is working well and a hell of a lot better than what I have to pay over $5k a month for my employees in the USA who STILL have to co-pay.

It wasn't reported as it just wasn't news-worthy.

signed a usual Labour voter who thinks they're currently shite.

Very strange how they say on the inserts "Unknown affects on Fertility". Why not do some tests first before injecting millions?

Ahh...right! :Oh crap

What your brainwashed mass of so-called grey cells doesn't get ... is that they will no longer have the service .. but will still pay the same taxes ....
Gotta finance those costly crusades ...
