Except for old rock concert videos I have never used youtube. Even that is becoming a waste of time with all the annoying user created tribute shit.

Some quality control would be nice.

They have the rating system but that's bullshit since people do "hate rate" all the
time on good vids. Plus you don't see the rating until you've already clicked.

Take any song by Metallica for example. The actual professional video or concert footage is lost in a sea of shitty hand held phone videos or a slide show by some stalker fan set to the song you want to WATCH not listen to. I've basically written the whole site off.

I don't get lost in the suggested videos on the side but I do hate it when I'm trying to find a certain clip or something and it ends up being some fag that perfectly placed a thumbnail of the clip into the video and the rest is him talking to a camera in his bedroom.

I laugh just looking at the guy. He's on Comedy Central 3-4 nights a week. :thumbsup
