She is coming for a week and she sent us a list of stuff she was wondering if we could pick up for her while she is here...

one of the items - aluminum free deodorant

WTF? do i even want to know?

porno jew 10-17-2011 01:52 PM

porno jew 10-17-2011 01:54 PM

When it comes to in-laws...... ours is not to question why, ours is but to do or die :winkwink:

PR_Glen 10-17-2011 01:57 PM

been lots of speculation about aluminum in deodorants.. some saying it causes alzheimers others saying cancer.. I'm not 100% but I think if that was the case they would have removed it off the market by now...

You let her know without aluminum in her deodorant her armpits are exposed to alien transmissions. :winkwink:

Hmm, my Mom goes home tomorrow from a week here. Maybe she's been using a lot of products with aluminum... would make sense.

Not to sound like a tech geek, but aluminum is usually in ANTI-PERSPIRANTS (not deodorants). The aluminum actually clogs the pours, and prevents sweating where it's applied. Deodorants, on the other hand, just make the sweat smell nice.

If you were smart you would also use flouride-free toothpaste... but you won't, because that's just "crazy talk," right?

Happy Birthday by the way....

We were having drinks with the neighbors last weekend. The wife showed me her sons room, shes concerned... He has a craft service tent (open walls) set up with aluminum foil hanging down the sides...he doesnt want to talk about it. WTF?

BlackCrayon 10-17-2011 02:19 PM

Aluminium zirconium trichlorohydrex gly has long been the active ingredient in most antipersirants. It's also a cool weird to randomly through out when it's not even relevant, just to be weird. :) The FDA is pretty picky in my opinion, so I figure they'd be on it if it were a real concern. Regardless, sometimes it's best to humor the inlaws and let your spouse talk to her own parents if and when something needs to be addressed.
