Sign up ratios October 2011

I do promote mainly CCbill sponsors.

My normal average sign up ratio @CCBill is arround 1:1150 over 2011.

During the week of October 09 till 15: 1:2601

This week (so far): 1:3741

What is going on? Summer slow down? No, summer is over and we're turning into the winter... Black Friday? No that's next month... Traffic down? No, it is steady and even growing and I am getting rewarded by Panda...

I do promote 1 big NATS programs (doing this since 4 years).

My normal average sign up ratio @that NATS program is arround 1:1276 over 2011.

Over the period October 09 till October 18: 1:3743

So the ratios compared CCBill and that one NATS program are about the same.
Is there anybody else seeing the same?

redwhiteandblue 10-19-2011 05:04 AM

Yep, it's not just CCBill.

mineistaken 10-19-2011 05:07 AM

that sucks, but thats reality

BIGTYMER 10-19-2011 05:08 AM

Enjoy the ride! Weeee!!!

CamTraffic 10-19-2011 05:11 AM

I am slowly pulling CCbill sites out of my network.
The rebill ratios went down to shit and i always hated their Stats area.
Nats Sites are doing well this year

Fabien 10-19-2011 05:13 AM

I'ts not so good right now here. What's worst, NOT GETTING PAID ! No email returns etc..

247mg.com
Intelligentaffiliate.com (roboticblowjobcash)

and add to this, fucking shaving (various techniques used) from almost all of the other ones. Some obvious and some very clever.

Fuck porn ! In fact, fuck anything you resell (porn or mainstream)

This is not a CCBill problem. It is just that 80% of my traffic goes to CCBill aff. programs.
Only a small part goes to other programs. But I see that also at my NATS sponsor the ratios going to shit since the last 10 days.

Strange thing is that the first week of October 2011 was good (both CCBill and NATS programs) and ratios were better than average.

I just want to know if you guys are seeing the same at your stats...

wehateporn 10-19-2011 05:58 AM

I was thinking I had made a bad change to my site adverts, so started moving stuff around, trying to get it similar to August when I had my all time record affiliate sales. If it's not just me though, then there probably wasn't anything wrong with the design afterall. Yes, unusually low conversion ratios over the last 2 weeks, personally I think it's the banks declining many legit sales, like mine did when I put through a test sale the other day

It's been about the same here. To an extent it's an expected pattern. I've learned to expect it. Things started falling apart around the 13th. A small part of it is due to the Panda update.

Markul 10-19-2011 06:01 AM

Sept: 1:6204
Oct so far: 1:4247

That's uniques for all programs I push (also those that doesn't make a sale... ever.. can't figure out where I sent them hits from lol), don't even get me started on RAW ><

wehateporn 10-19-2011 06:37 AM

My CCBill ratios for the past 4 months

July 1:557
August 1:454
September 1:832
October (so far) 1:993

patavax 10-19-2011 08:34 PM

Ratios keep on raising. Today is one of my worst days ever. Traffic is up and sales are really down. I don't understand it anymore. First 12 days of October were just very good and now since about 1 week it is really down down down...

Jakez 10-19-2011 09:04 PM

First time I'm actually in the same boat on one of these "low sales weeks" threads. First part of Oct was great as usual but the last week specifically took a major dive.

TeenCat 10-19-2011 09:10 PM

i like rebills ... :)

adult-help 10-19-2011 09:16 PM

either people buy less and less or these companies cheat us ..

SomeCreep 10-19-2011 09:17 PM

The answer is simple. These days, less people are paying for porn.

pornmasta 10-19-2011 09:26 PM

slow but not awful

looky_lou 10-19-2011 09:30 PM

Very bad the last week or so. Terrible to be more specific.

SmutHammer 10-19-2011 09:36 PM

bank rejected me signing up to metart.com, but I had plenty of money in the bank....

porno jew 10-19-2011 09:39 PM

you can tell how shitty sales are by how slow it is on here. either people are too depressed, or working harder, or quietly packing it ...

and the world seeming like it's going to explode in revolution doesn't help either.

Spunky 10-19-2011 09:45 PM

You might as well drive down the highway and throw money out the window

Shoplifter 10-19-2011 09:47 PM

One of the highest ratios of declines I have ever seen this month...The highest in fact.

anexsia 10-19-2011 09:50 PM

I've actually had much better luck in october then in august or september. One of the main NATS sponsors I promote was at a horrible 1:2,764 ratio all through out august and september and for October my ratio is a sweet 1:192.

Vjo 10-19-2011 10:40 PM

Slow lately since the 16th and pretty decent earlier in the month. Some were reporting CCBill was doing very well earlier this month.

Prob tightening the scrub very much lately which is why maybe they were a bit less than the norm earlier in the month. Just a guess.

Financial stuff tends to happen in October.

- Black Friday
- IBill going down in 2004 (I think)
- I lost 39 of 40 rebills in October 2002 (yes 39 of 40 rebills I built up since the 90s) with PornMegaBucks I THINK with mostly Epoch as this was before Ibill went down. But back then PMB had both Ibill and Epoch as well as CCBill.

Anyhow only CCbill's recurs survived the Oct of 2002 "unknown disaster" and carried all the way to 2008 for my last rebill with PMB. Think it was mostly Epoch where they dropped.

PMB was a great recurring prog in it's day. But that killed me at the time. I have no idea what happened. They just did not recur after recurring for years.

venus 10-19-2011 10:47 PM

there is a recession going on, ignore it if you like, but untill this stupid crap is over and the news quits crying the sky is falling and its gonna be adouble dip, and people get jobs, all over the world...expect ups and downs

In fairness to Epoch it might have been Ibill. One or the other. But trust me. 39 of 40. I think I wrote them at the time but nothing could be done. Maybe I didnt even write them. After all what are you gonna say. The rebills just didnt rebill.

Anyhow, since then I am very, very leary of Oct while being only very leary of this biz as a whole.

Knock on wood. :)

patavax 10-20-2011 05:01 AM

Strange thing is that I am getting sign ups for sponsors that I barely promote. Tuesday I had 2 new sign ups for a site that brings in 10 new sign ups per year. Same thing yesterday for another sponsor. WTF?

And in the meantime my main sponsors that I send a shitload of hits do barely convert.
Yesterday: another disaster day...
