Should I buy a car like this ?
Anybody owned one of these before ? What you think should I buy or not ?
Its a Mitsubishi FTO GR http://www.spc.org.uk/mitsubishi/fto...ft-fto-000.jpg |
Bump so maybe some GFY member will respond to the Handicap's ( Halfpint ) cries for attention ...

I thought about buying one a few years ago when my girlfriends brother picked up a Supra, but in the end I didn't get it. I'd rather have something a bit newer to be honest, those type of cars can end up costing you a lot in repairs/modifications.

Nothing wrong with a Volkswagen Beetle .... That black car is shit!
|
The comfort of that car will all depend on how tall (or big) you are and how far you're driving. On the other hand, the air space in them allows for some killer sound systems.....

i'd take the beetle

I had problems getting insurance for teh FTO as it was. My insurance company witch i had with my Celica wouldent even insure that car and I have 5 years no claims lol. I got quotes and they wanted anything £850 up to 2k per year lol. I eventually had a look on the FTO forums and they have suggested insurance companys for them I got the insuarance for £442 a year in the end |

Just check if screws in engine space aren't painted, usually when fixing frontal wreckage, screws aren't covered and they've got hit by paint. |
