No Traffic?!?

I am new to the adult website business. I have many years of experience in the non-adult arena. Since I started this new website I have been struggling to get traffic. Ive been doing My own SEO and have the site rather well maintained (I think).

I have launched many non-adult sites and will get 50-60 visits within a week. Comparatively the adult site might as well be private as only my friends and contacts visit it and post. I don't know what I am doing wrong, but it almost seems that the adult website industry is saturated with supply but lacks demand. I hope not as I invested significant amounts of time on the site, but unless things improve I wont be running it for long.

I dont create content (photo's, videos's, sound, etc), and it is not really an "Adult" website, but more of a Non-censored photo sharing site. It has some unique features for registered users that make it distinguishable against the bigger players. And (as far as I can find), and though all photo's are public only, I would not mind making a private storage based profit base.

Right now I am not even selling anything, but would like to eventually sell ad's.

url? might help to solve your problem.

Unfortunately I do not have my 30 posts in yet. Hard to meet a 30 post requirement when you don't want to post fluff and when you have more to learn then to say:(

For one thing you have zero backlinks.

Kostly 10-21-2011 10:03 AM

Yea, That has been a problem. I don't know where to post the site, and the places I have posted it are not registering with google:(

Backlink #1 :thumbsup

Slippery Onion

When ya throw a product, service, ads or some form of monetization on it wouldn't hurt to buy a little traffic to jump start it. Traffic-Out would be a good start. 5k regular traffic $35 or 3k geo traffic $27. Maybe throw some Cams or Dating ads on the site or rotate around until you find something that converts for your audience. Good Luck :thumbsup

Do some link trades, go to linkspun and create a user and look for trades there :)
