lol this has happened to me.. its pretty normal , muscles get tense enough so you dont move.. people locally in latin america say that when this happen is the witch grabbing you lol

hasn't happened to me in a while but used to happen quite often, started in high school. first time was scary. 50th time it's like "whatever, hurry up..."

I had it twice before - complete with the whole "leaving the body" sensation and the feeling of a "presence" in the room.

No, but I had a problem waking up from surgery one time and was like that. Could see but couldn't move at all for about an hour before gradually I could begin moving different parts starting from head and going down to feet.

when i cut blood to my hand, i get paralysis :D

Had this once. Very bizarre. I was unaware of this type of thing before it happened, so it freaked me out.

They think that sleep paralysis was one of the motivations behind the Salem Witch Hunts. That and ergot fungus which is one of the main ingredients used to make lsd. Ergot is a hallucinogenic fungus that grows on rye which they used to make bread. Some of the local girls were tripping their faces off, and people thought they were witches. A couple people said they were attacked in their sleep by witches, really they were suffering from sleep paralysis.

Used to get it quite often.

Fucking scared the shit out me the first few times because i never knew what the fuck was happening. After that though, you learn to control it a bit more, and you just let it go for a few mins, before it goes away.

Usually happened to me after a night out clubbing and taking E lol...
