published an app, has over 10000 downloads and only makes $3 a day - not worth it
ps: you cant make adult apps - they get removed and your account banned

AS said above, it's all in the marketing. In my opinion Adult Apps are not worth the money or effort. There is no where to market them with serious traffic. For mainstream apps, it's all about knowing your audience, willingness to pay and being able to locally target.

Why? Huge portion of total worldwide traffic is adult.
