LOS ANGELES ? Grooby Productions plans to launch its latest website, Shemale.XXX, the first of a number of XXX websites Grooby plans to release.

Steven Grooby, CEO and founder of Grooby Productions, called the site "a dream ticket for us," and will feature new tranny models from U.S., Europe, South America and Asia.

Since September 7, the ICM Registry has received over 42,000 sunrise applications. As of the beginning of August, there had been only 1500 applications. ICM is expecting that, as of the deadline, applications will exceed 50,000 for both Sunrise A and Sunrise B.

XXX domain names are commanding high prices. According to ICM, XXX domain names are selling at a premium of up to 40% of the .com equivalent. The highest price so far, $500,000, went for gay.xxx.

The sale of XXX domain names is proving incredibly profitable. Domain Incite reports that the ICM Registry's breakeven point was 10,000 applications. All I can say is that .xxx is working for us. We launched casting.xxx on 6th August and orgasms.xxx on 8th September and we are already at over 5000 members. We have over 200 affiliates now signed up in that time too. We are about to launch our 3rd site Kiss.xxx so for a brand new network as we are, .xxx has been the making of us.

We are also hoping to buy a lot more .xxx domains in the Landrush period that opens in a few weeks.

Maybe, but I do know that our bounce rate is extremely low compared to any of our competitors. Orgasms.xxx v's x-art.com for example, x-art is at around 36%, ours is half that at 18%. Casting.xxx v's Backroomcastingcouch.com, BRCC is at 45% bounce rate, ours is 10%.

The only reason I can see for that huge difference is that people typing into Google (that accounts for around 20% of our traffic, know that they are coming to an adult site because of the .xxx domain extension.

Would we have had as a successful launch as we have had on a .com? Possibly, but I would not have had domains like orgasms.com or casting.com or Kiss.com as they were either not available or priced so high that it was out of our range. Then again, the sheer quality of our content will always shine, but I do know that the .xxx domains that I was able to secure have certainly helped with branding and a surprising amount of search engine traffic.

What part are we full of Sh*t on? I believe PornHub have been on a GFY thread before confirming we are their best converting site at the moment. Just look at the views an Orgasms.xxx video gets a day on YouPorn, PornHub, Tube8, RedTube, YouJizz, xHamster and even the worst conversion rate will give you those sorts of membership numbers.

And yes, its not hard to imagine that we have 200 affiliates signed up to promote our sites already. These affiliates do look at the tubes to see what the users are currently interested in, and they will promote those sites that are doing well. All they will see right now is Orgasms.xxx and Casting.xxx over the tubes like a rash. Always highest rated and highest viewed on YouPorn each day for example.

These affiliates also read the threads on GFY and would have seen me post about Orgasms.xxx and Casting.xxx before. They also read the statement on my signature and can click on the YouPorn link I provide for verification. In fact, when I do write a response on GFY, we normally pick up between 10-20 just on the back of these threads, so thank you for keep bumping them and bringing my sites to their attention.

The people at CCbill doing your processing would know, why not post some stats.

People actively using .xxx domains for some reason seem like the type to some day say "Fuck you there will be no more payments". Just a feeling.

To be honest, personally, I am so busy shooting new content for our new sites, and my developers are so busy building new sites, that we simply do not have the time to do a test. And besides that, I am of no doubt that the .xxx domains are working for me just fine.

The other problem I would have is there are no good .com domains available anymore for me to feel comfortable to do a test on. Thats the thing with .xxx that I don't understand some of the people in the industry not getting. You guys have the whole dictionary available to you in front of .xxx

Among other concerns, I think people are more against the re-sale of .xxx versions of their existing keyword term .com domains before they had the opportunity to register the corresponding .xxx domain.

These do not appear to be owned by the same entity. Dot xxx was advertising the fact that existing .com owners would be able to register their .com name in .xxx.

In actuality it appears that the .xxx versions of high end .com domains have been sold off before the .com owners had any chance of acquiring them.

So you are basing these bounce rates of your competitors on alexa stats which we all know isn't the big pictures or accurate in any way.

You do realize what you've said here makes zero sense, right? If your competitors were not adult sites I could see what you are saying but since they are all adult sites, it shouldn't make a difference in bounce rates. The surfer does not even have to visit the site to realize its an adult site, just the description is enough but you are saying you have a lower bounce rate because people know its an adult site because of the .xxx...it just makes no sense what you are saying. backroomcastingcouch.com is an adult site too. Its not like people are visiting them and then leaving because they had no clue.

There are plenty of good domain names that can be had for pretty cheap. Orgasms.xxx is not a brand. Thats just a generic term associated with many things. Alexa is the only place i know where I can get that type of info so yes. I know Alexa is not the best place to get stats from but the bounce rate they show for my sites is pretty much what Google Analytics is telling me too, so I assumed there was a degree of accuracy there, but if not, then I will revoke that statement regarding my competitors bounce rates.

As I have stated a few times on GFY, we are a brand new network and we have not run sites before, but have been producing adult content for around 9 years for another established brand, so we are very new to actually operating websites.

I'd get some advice from someone who has then before you start posting alexa bollocks as fact. Do you know how they get their data even?

We had registered some .com domain names for the sites, but they were not anything like Orgasms.xxx thats for sure. As I wrote before, I am sure that because of our quality of content, we would have succeeded on a domain like smackmybitchup.com, but orgasms.xxx looks and sounds much better and is so much easier for marketing.

As for kiss .xxx ass, funny you should write that, as we launch www.kiss.xxx in a weeks time.
