what was the most shocking docu you have seen in yer preteen years?
mine was "night and fog" (german = bei nacht und nebel) when i was about 11yo (1977) ... a documentary about the nazi regime and killing jews by 1000s ... it was shown to us at SCHOOL ... i still remember the silence in class and haunted nights after seeing what "we" had done ... mountains of cut of hair ... bony corpses shoved into trenches with caterpillars ... lamps with human skin ... horrible details i wanna spare ... serious; it killed several nights ... anyone sympathizing with nazi bums shud see it - AND GET REAL!!! ...
part1 --> https://youtube.com/watch?v=eZQi47SzzsA 2 ---> https://youtube.com/watch?v=CSL2y...eature=related 3 ---> https://youtube.com/watch?v=q0iO2...eature=related 4 ---> https://youtube.com/watch?v=H-TXK...eature=related i think its originally 8 parts but i didnt find them all ... maybe a good thing coz even today i still am in shock and close to tears when seeing what human (?) beings can do to others ... and a call to israel ... DONT SEEK NEW LAND IN THE EAST LIKE GERMANY DID :2 cents: |
yeah I read the biography of the camp commander at triblinka.... fucked me up for years..

"reefer madness" it was a rerun in the theater in 1969 (Reefer Madness (1936)). I was 14 we smoked herb before the show :0)) |
Some of the short films we were shown at school in England about playing on the motorway and playing by electrical plants were seriously screwed up.

Faces of Death. Not sure you'd call it a documentary, but was crazy seeing that at 11-12 years old.

Had Hitler died in a plane crash in 1938 there would today be statues of him standing throughout your country from Königsberg to Eger to Frankfurt. His designated successor had no stomach for war and thereby denied the fog of war he could hardly hope to murder millions of Jews in secret, hence no Holocaust either. 48 million Europeans wouldn't die, Medical textbooks would still be printed almost exclusively in German, Hitler mustaches would remain (at least somewhat) fashionable to this day and Israel would still be called Palestine. Whoever says that one single event can't change the entire world hasn't read his history. |
a docu about car accidents involving young drivers... designed to make teens think twice about drinking and driving.... docu was full of pics and videos dead bodies, decapitations, limbs torn off, teeth on the pavement, heads in windshields,....

The nazi ones are always pretty bad, especially since I am Jewish, but the pretty gruesome ones that we used to watch as kids were the "Faces of Death" series. Some pretty nasty shit on there.

"Threads" made "The Day After" look like "The Sound of Music".

Hitler wasn't the only one who believed in Hitler and Hitlers views. One could just as easily argue that things could have been worse had Hitler died. :2 cents: |
i just like poo, tbh...

What pre-teen is watching documentaries? I was more interested in Ghostbusters.
