RSS Feeds, Blogs, Search engines?
How do search engines view rss feeds for blogs. Do they index them? Do they index, list and drop fast? Any experience with this out there.
|
Do you mean a blog's own feed or a blog fed with other site's feeds?
|
Yes the latter, Blogs fed by other sites feeds. If the same feeds are all over the place wouldn't search engines look at them as duplicate content?

Change your descriptions
|
They're pretty much good for creating blogs for SEO backlink purposes and that's about it. Do a search for the post's titles and descriptions and you'll find a thousand other blogs with the same thing.
You could change the titles and descriptions around enough to be unique but if you're going to do that, you might as well just write your own original posts since it's about the same amount of effort. That being said, I have made a few sales from total RSS blogs on subdomains that cost me absolutely nothing to put up so it certainly doesn't hurt I guess. |
I doubt they even care, it's not pretty so doesn't sell well.
