nightlife in miami beach
any suggestions? and no I am not 10 hot females or wanting to spend $2k on a table
|
Since the late 1980's, South Miami Beach (SoBe for short) has been a popular gay jet set destination. The mention of South Beach conjures up images of endless, sunny days at the beach, nonstop nights of partying at some of the hottest bars and clubs in the world, and a continuous flow of sexy men from all corners of the globe.

sounds good grease me up

can probably get bottle service for $5000 at one of the strips but nobody on this forum can afford that so scratch that info
|
Check out any of the nice hotel bars.

how much you want to spend?

if you want a fun bar, that is easy to get into, puts on great sexy dance shows, won't break your wallet and full of hot women, go to Mango's on Ocean Ave. (I really don't recommend anything else on Ocean Ave, the rest are all tourist traps).
That's my :2 cents: |

There are plenty of fun places to go, and yes, it is relevant to what you want to spend. If you like, feel free to hit me up and I will give you the contact info of a club promoter that can get you on a different list every night. Please bear in mind that right now is the lowest part of the season for Miami. It's has started to warm up in Argentina and Brazil, so that latin crowd is gone, and it's not yet cold enough to drive the northern types down here. Clubs that would be packed from Jan through Aug, are pretty empty now, except for friday, saturday and sunday nights. . |
IF you want to have a good time in Miami you have to spend a bit more $. Any good club you can get a table at for $800-1000 depending what you are drinking. If you are out partying with 6 people that shouldn't be a big deal considering entry fee is waived.
Have fun, Miami is my favorite city in USA. |

Manogs is or was toooo small of a place and they FILL it as tight as they can.. Best thing to do on the beach is Go, Park and walk. You are bound to run into something fun.

I live part of the year in Miami and have for the last 6 years. Go to Mango's all the time and have never had a bad experience. I've been lucky enough to have a close friend that's a night club promotor, so I can get in just about anywhere, no cover, no cost for drinks etc, just tip the waitress and VIP the whole way, but for someone with no contacts, the other clubs would be a complete nightmare, with waiting in line, cover, bottle and table costs etc. Mango's is a great alternative. |

I do agree that the rest of ocean drive is a tourist trap. |
Thanks for the infos. Still nothing planned for later this evening going to head up to 20th for some sushi and see what else is aroun there. Looks like a few rooftop bars which sound fckin nice
|
i dont understand something. It seems like some of you find it completely normal to pay thousands of dollars for just a night out. Are you all ballers, dont know how to enjoy yourselfs in normal bars, or just suckers?

Some people want to be self-important and pay for those things not realizing they are nothing more than a mark. |
The best way to get laid by a super hot girl in South Beach is to go to a gay bar. :2 cents:

Eh it's just money, can make more of it
Its just me and the gf so a little overkill to buy a bottle for just ourselves. If I was with more people clearly buying a bottle or two is the way todo it. Nothing wrong with normal bars, but not just trying to go to the same shitty tourist bars. Want to see some cool stuff not available elsewhere |
Did you hit up sperbonzo yet?
nuf said. |

Make friends with Sperbonzo, he and his wife are good people! Should I fuel the jet and come down to make an introduction? |
You are not going to get us locals to tell you the secret bars we go to that are cheap and ultra hip. We are just not going to do it. Why would we want you tourist types in our double secret cool bars? If you want to avoid all the tourist traps in Miami, you should just go on to Key West. It's still pretty rural and a lot like it was when Jimmy Buffet and Ernest Hemingway lived there. You can get a Conch Republic tee shirt, key lime pie and a bowel of turtle soup. And some orange juice.

Then there are the "ballers". These guys make a decent amount and may know a promoter or two... they get into VIP once or twice and think they are hot shit. Then there's guys who matter (not on gfy). The guys who make more in interest each week than most people here make in a year. These are the guys who can walk into a club and buy it for fun then close it the next day and laugh about it. Trust me, any opinion taken on gfy will be one of paying for something and feeling important. No one on this forum can afford to truely get into a club for free no questions asked. Do you think someone like sperbonzo can buy up miami? I didn't think so :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
