What do you use to convert videos into flash? Any freeware out there that will do it?

Why in the world would you convert to flash? This is 2011.

FFMPeg will convert just about any format to any format on a unix server (google FFMPeg for more details)

but no matter which one we use, we always run 'yamdi' on the flv files to inject/fix the metadata. :pimp

I just upload it to my tube script which uses FFmpeg to convert it.

It's an old, shitty format with severe compatibility issues. Everyone should be doing h.264/aac in .mp4.

It boggles the mind. I look at it this way: if my competition doesn't want to adapt then that's great for me. If I were really as smart as I think I am I would have just given a recommendation for a shitty GUI .flv encoder and said "I love flv."
