webcam whitelabel test

so over the next few months i will be doing a whitelabel test for a variety of webcam sponsors... of course you post anything webcam related here and you get 20 different opinions and webcam admins telling you how theirs is the best program...

so here's my test...

each month, will be setting up a whitelabel for a new account and will be sending traffic from the same source to each site...

will keep you posted on the results

seeandsee 11-04-2011 05:46 PM

how much traffic per month?

JohnRingo 11-04-2011 05:49 PM

not sure... will be the same for each though... at least enough to give a fair sample

Jakez 11-04-2011 06:05 PM

Sure you're not going to find something that works pretty good and just stick with that?

JohnRingo 11-04-2011 06:14 PM

If I get lucky and find a winner I will stick with that and just start another subdomain to test the other wl

HandballJim 11-04-2011 08:24 PM

What domain will you use to test this? Most of the sponsors have the good domains...so sending traffic to them is ideal. Not sure how well a whitelabel would convert for HotbabesliveWetCams.com

Will look forward to this hopefully you stay at it and update the thread later, what is the source of the traffic anyways? General porn traffic or SE? Clicked, skim, popup?

the domain is an okay one... 4 words... you can probably figure it out if you really care to...

traffic will come from se and some advertising... i figure as long as the traffic sources stay consistent, it will be a fair test

no pop unders... no pop up im... i hate that shit

Now that's outside the box! ;)

If running tests like this are outside the box then no wonder everyone is complaining about ratios.

Easy. Very easy.

What relevance is a WL to a test like this? What conclusion is it going to make about WLs as opposed to non-WLs? What's the difference between sending to a WL of a site and the main site which looks exactly the same but perhaps has better branding and features?

People here talk redundantly about "whitelabeling" all the time as if, in and of itself, it's anything more than using a $10 domain to jerk off over the fantasy that they now own their own webcam site.

The problem is that they don't offer true white labels / custom labels so everything you say is true.

Ok. Say I send to live jasmine but a cookie is already in place from the 1000 porn sites that use pop unders from them. And from my site they go to LJ and decide to sign up (because I'm just that good). Who gets credit? Me or the porn site with the cookie? Whitelabels are the way to go if u are somewhat capable with branding. Just ask freeones and pimproll.

Bookmarked

There is a little flaw in that cunning plan.
