Who owns this phone number +44 752 360 9958

+44 752 360 9958

Clown keeps phoning in the middle of the night or early in the morning.

Sometime late enough in the morning for Eva to pick up the phone and they put it down.

Most of the time we're upstairs sleeping, the phone is in the living room so we don't even hear it. So just an idiot phoning us.

When I phone back the phone is never picked up.

Might have to put it on a social networking site and make his life hell.

DVTimes 11-08-2011 12:52 AM

block it.

some phone firms allow you to block certain phone nombers.

DVTimes 11-08-2011 12:58 AM

you should report it to the police.

alsonext time pick up the phone, do not speak, just listen.

see if he/she hangs up.

That is probably the best thing to do.

I wonder if being in CZ makes a difference to the police.

What do you get when you phone it?

Anyone in the UK want to give it a ring for me please.

Gary, don't insinuate I am involved in illegal activity.

Dangerous for you to do that, seeing as you are living off immoral earnings, have a high street sex operation and I know your phone number and address.

It's some idiot who thinks phoning me is an annoyance. would be if he did it during the day and I had to go look for the phone. It's the sort of thing some child will do.

I set the number with it's own ring tone, so know if it's him and know to ignore it. Maybe best if I give it an auto reply of a sharp shrill whistle, blow his ear drums out. LOL

Yes Bryan, I'm sure a few have tried it already.

Doesn't mean it hasn't... IE +44 7523 609 958, problem solved. Just different ways of laying it out.

Phoenix 11-08-2011 07:12 AM

it is obviously someone here.
they bought a display number and use it to have a great laugh at your expense.

at most you will find the company who sold them the number...then be told to go away

good luck

Wonder how he got your number?

Anyone in the UK want to give it a ring for me please.

i would report it to the police in cz but also uk police too.

chances are its a pay as you go phone, but it may have been registered. if they are making calls they have put credit on and may have used a credit or debit card.

make a note when you get the calls.

it is possibl;e its not somone messing about, but unlikly.

for instance i get such calls. the reason is adam is first on the mobile list and somtimes it gets pressed when its (the phone) in somones pocket.

but as i say answer the phone, but do not speak and do not hang up. if they hang up its clear they dieled your nomber. but just let them waste there cash. i would think phoning outside the uk on a mobile is not cheap, so just keep the call live.

one thing about mobiles is when on they track people. all phone firms (at least in the uk) have a log of where a person (well the mobile) is at any pointr at any time, as long on the phone is on.

Yes Bryan, I'm sure a few have tried it already.

he must not know your over 96 and lost most of your hearing by now.

i wonder if he witholds the nomber. that may sound silly as you have the nomber, but witholding the nomber may only work in the uk, so if he may be thinking that by witholding the nomber you will not see who called, but if the system is not the same in your country, up pops the nomber.

the thing is, if you do this, you withold the nomber.

its a simple system, its not as acuate as gps, its based on the phone poles, as you move around the system has to know where you are to alow you to make phone calls. it also recoirds your location. it can calculate faily well your location.

its why if your sygnal is poor your advised to turn your phone off and on as it will tell the system where you are and as such put calls to you.

its why they call it a cell network in the usa, as your in a cell system.

today you do not tend to notice switch over but a few years back if you were on a train or somtimes a car, it would strugle to re-conect you to a local system as you moved from one to another.

but police do use this data somtimes.

if you search the net you may find this info.

Mobile phone companies know which was the last antenna to communicate with a phone. The police have used this to track missing people before. It doesnt give you a precise location but it does narrow the field considerably.

DVTimes 11-08-2011 07:52 AM

http://www.nationaljournal.com/tech/...iders-20110929

this tells you about usa firms doing it.

but all mobile phone firms do.

the thing is they have to track you or they could not put the call to your mobile.

unlike gps it cannot say your say at a house, but i think its good enough to say your in a street.

but that was some years ago, so toy they may be more precise.

also the police tend not to want you to know this as they do not want criminals leaving phones at home. i amnot sure how much its used as evidence, but its at least gives police an idea if somone was in a certain area at a certain time. but that is if the phone is with them and switched on.

Right, so they don't know where you are then. They know what cell you are in. Where I live a cell is many many miles wide. So, not really much use.

Thanks for playing.

no

the way it works is say your in spot a

around you are antinas

what it does is work out how far you are from each antini (from what i remeber).

from this it calculates your location.

a bit like gps. gps works in reverse. the satalites simply send out a constent sygnal. your gps gets the sygnal from as many satalits as it can. from this it calculates the distance it is from each satalight. from this it can calculate its position.

Quote:

The technology of locating is based on measuring power levels and antenna patterns and uses the concept that a mobile phone always communicates wirelessly with one of the closest base stations, so if you know which base station the phone communicates with, you know that the phone is close to the respective base station. The accuracy of the report depends on the distance between the mobile phone being located and the base station that it is contact with at the time. Location is generally more accurate in built up urban areas than in rural areas as they tend to have a greater concentration of mobile masts.

Bless you and your little feature phone.

i did say its an old system.

also my point was the sytem tracks you and police can use it.

and in this case its possible that the police could find were the chap lives who is phoning paul.

i think we got a bit of track.

Paul Markham 11-08-2011 08:09 AM

Has anyone in the UK tried phoning this number?

0752 360 9958

We can soon find out if it works for real, maybe who it is.

DVTimes 11-08-2011 08:09 AM

by the way, though its old, some security firms use it as its cheap.

ier

if they want to track you, they buy a cheap mobile, set it up for tracking, stick it under your car, then track you.
