Secret or not so secret Vegas deals?
 

I'll be out in Vegas next week for a few days and looking to see if I can find some hidden tricks to lower the cost of eating and doing stuff :winkwink: i can't help it, im part Jewish :1orglaugh

Last year for instance I found this "trick" on facebook. if you checked into the buffet at Harrahs, you got a FREE entry. We did this every day for either lunch or breakfast, you only got 1 per day. Im sure that has been fixed to now 1 per person.

There was some other things that we found like vouchers for places if you signed up for a players card, free entry and free drink into some clubs, etc., but I've been out of the loop so curious to see if anyone found or knows of any.

I found something the other day that gets you 45% off Blue Man Group tickets at the Venetian if anyone wants the code :thumbsup

We are going for Thanksgiving with the kids and I was looking for the same type of things. :)

Check out Groupon and Living Social for Vegas deals, they have stuff all over the city, including shows and shit on the strip.

If you are up for massages, there are many people who do call-ins (non-sexual) for pretty cheap too as Vegas is hurting and everyone needs money.

Whatever hotel you are staying at, ask the concierge once you get there if there are any hookups.

I bought my tickets on Southwest and got a smoking deal in my email for the hotel, Palazzo for us at $125/night. Not bad at all...

for free show tickets (although they sometimes have only crap left over) signup at http://www.showtickets4locals.com

Always signup for the player's cards. A lot of them come with 2 for 1 buffets, coupon books, etc.

Also, one of the local news channel's website has their deal of the day type things that are sometimes better than Groupon or Living Social

There are also all kinds of discount ticket places just a little off the strip.

I'm headed to LA first, then going to Vegas for a few days, so this trip will definitely put a hurting on my bank account :1orglaugh

Its just me and the wife, so going out once or twice to a nice place is fine, but the rest neither one of us cares about. This week I just got something in the mail from the Venetian for 3 free nights, so I called and they can only do 2 nights free and the others are $200/nt. I said let me think about it and called back to the Flamingo (never stayed there so wanted to try, plus it was free for nice rooms) and they gave us a suite upgrade if we stayed. Both have players cards and gamble so probably didn't want us to leave.

Heres one I found online. Excalibur used to have a deal like this and so did the Gold Coast before it turned into some chain... hopefully its still around

We will probably be there for Thanksgiving too. Went to Lawry's with the kids last year for Thanksgiving dinner and it was reaaaaallllyyy good.

If you have a local friend, the excellent Rio buffet is 50% off for locals with a Nevada ID and they can bring up to a party of 4.

My kids have no clue we are going, so I just keep telling them "Sorry guys, but I refuse to cooking Thanksgiving this year. Hope that's okay."

I was thinking of just doing the Bellagio buffet, we have a nice dinner at Smith and Wollensky's planned for the next night. The cheesecake is flown in from the Bronx daily. Mmmm...

I wonder if they will notice that my Nevada ID is expired?

Probably not but I don't know. You also need a players card from the Rio but you don't need any points on it for the buffet discount.

Serious Tip?

On the journey there, eat loads of food - DONT USE A BATHROOM!

Book into your room - IN TOP HOTEL...

Immediately, take a MASSIVE DUMP on the floor - In the middle of the room, or on the bed, or on the TV...

TIP: For max effect, smear some up the walls as well...

Go back to reception... FREAK THE FUCK OUT ! SCREAM AND SHOUT - Use the words shit, poo, excrement, faeces and diaroreeah REALLY LOUDLY ! SHOUT AND SCREAM...

Trust me... You will not only be upgraded to a top of the budget suite, you will also have your stay comped by the hotel.. IN FULL

This has worked MANY TIMES !
