Mexico City mayor calls drug policy 'schizophrenic'
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/worl...-drug-war.html
"If the United States is legalizing marijuana and we're over here killing ourselves on the street over marijuana, that does not make sense," Ebrard said Tuesday, referring to U.S. states, such as California, that have sought to decriminalize the sale and use of cannabis. I love california, need to find a spot of land to buy. |
Mexican cartels aren't killing people over marijuana. Surely he's got to know that, right?

True Acapulco Gold is a potent strain, if grown correctly, it could be growin in a igloo in Alaska. In fact, ive had family visit Alaska and they have very very good herb LOL But really, I referred BRICK weed specifically. I know good pot is grown everywhere, its a plant. I was talking specifically about good old brown dark dirt weed from mexico. its all about genes. |

To say no one is killing anyone for weed is just nonsense. Also, Marijuana is huge business for the cartels. Small part my dick. |

Ive known quite a few speed addicts, and they often do not like pot or any despressants since they crave the speed. Much different highs especially to true addicts. |

People die because of the marijuana trade. That's an undeniable fact. But, don't get me wrong here. I'm for legalization just as much as the next guy, mainly in the hopes it puts these types out of business. But still, facts are facts. |

My guess is the ones doing anything shady will get culled and those operating properly will continue unscathed. Have tons of family and friends there and they dont seem concerned |

I simply said that the Mayor singled it out in his statement. In the scheme of things, weed IS a small portion. That portion is definitely huge business, but it is still a small part of the whole pie. |

sure they will and hopefully do get shut down, and let the non criminals get back to helping those in need with medicinal grade marijuana. I miss that place so much, its like it became a part of me, and as much a home as nola is when Im away from it. |

have had friends home invaded for their plants. others jacked, robbed ... saying there is no violent crime tied to weed is just stupid. |
anyone actually read before posting? of course not it's gfy.
they want to legalize in mexico to stop the weed-trade-based violence there. |
