Opinion of the conflict doesn't and shouldn't weigh in on the level of gratitude we should have for our veterans.

Just an fyi..when you join the armed forces of the U.S.A. you take an oath to serve your country and follow the order of your superiors ..if every tom dick and harry in the services decided if and when they wanted to show up and fight ..you my friend would be speaking (and typing) in german :winkwink:

you know then, your superiors could be guys like Hitler, Musolini etc and you can end up doing some serious shit against inocent people, and all on wing called serving your country and following the orders... then lets make BIG DAY FOR NAZZI VETERANS, why not...
come on dont put all in 1 basket only when fits your opinion, salute to all war veterans or MAKE SOME LINE, LIKE I DO IT...

I've always had respect for anyone that serves their country, even if it is a country we are fighting against now or in the past, our allies, and the veterans of neutral countries.
