Penn State is Starting to Feel the Financial Pinch
|
you don't need the NY Times to tell you that Penn State and its employees are going to be paying out tens of millions of dollars over this - depending on how many victims are out there.
|
People are bitching about a stupid fucking football coach loosing his job... Wait until the lawsuits start. Your talking at least a dozen kids; I read earlier up to two hundred. Your talking a minimum of tens of millions - And I'm guessing that's just the starting point.
I'm not a football fan, could care less about Penn State, and have never heard the coach. It blows me away that at no point in time someone said "We should call the police". I don't care what Joe Paterno did; I don't care if he was a fucking hero. He allowed a child molester to run wild on a college campus, and even worse, because of his lack of action he was allowed to pull kids out of elementary school so he could molest him. |
This is completely ridiculous

This included the man who oversaw entire campus police, and even a DA. They looked the other way. |

Close down Penn State? Where will the solid C+ high school students of rural Pennsylvania apply to then?

Don't give me no crap about "he's too powerful" or "too well liked". The more powerful they are, the easier it is to take them down. A single phone call to the local news channel would have saved dozens of kids from being raped. |
