Boxing doesn't produce enough big fights. They need to follow UFC and have a president that decides the fights then it would start rebounding

The biggest issue with boxing is that there are 4 separate organizations running it and 6,018 different championship title belts.

I just don't think boxing has teh same entertainment value as UFC. I for one found boxing to be boring as hell - UFC on the other hand is flat out brutal. Kind of like being able to stand around the school yard yelling 'fight fight fight' while two guys belt the hell out of each other.

Both fighters were injured. Junior Dos Santos tore his meniscus, and 11 days ago was on crutches. He took a cortisone shot before going out and knocking out Cain in the 1st round. On the other hand, Cain had a bad knee going into the fight, but sucked it up and fought. Both warriors.

Fights can go on for all five rounds, or they can end quick like tonight. It's the beauty, and the violence of MMA that sets it apart from other combat sports. That, and fighting in every range, striking, clinch, and grappling.
